Weems starting to percieve himself as a Kobe Bryant type of player.
He wants the ball at the end of 4th quarter, runs 3 vs 2 fast break alone, and looks to polish and render his stats, 'cause in his own lala land, he's averaging 27-5-5.
Honestly, what has he to offer to the Raptors' table in crunch time... he can't run fast break, shoot, penetrate, heck he can't even swing the ball.
When I see Sonny Weems, I don't see the old unselfish young player that I used to see. He wasn't attatched to stats, stuck to defence, and made plays that were beneficial to the team. If he's trying to average the best career number in his games, and intend to do whatever it takes to pretty his stats, he doesnt belong in this team.

He gets the ball to the rim, and he hates losing. But you know all this.

He fits in with the young guys.

I think the Raptors needs psychologist to get brainwash to play harder, better and consistently everyday. Their brains are no good.

I need to be brainwashed to work harder as well. Where do I get in line for that? I wonder if I can be brainwashed into not needing to sleep. That would be perfect.

Thanks for pointing out Triano was terrible tonight, hopefully you can point out when he's pretty good too..

Anyway..

Yes Bayless has been pretty good, but tonight he cost us the game you do realize that right? Trying to do alittle to much?

Bayless needs to make a commitment to actually being a pg. He either dishes the ball off at the arc or drives in for a score AND OCCASIONALLY he'll find a big inside or kick it, but he needs to get assists as a product of the system as opposed to as a product of free lance drives and such. Overall you can see the potential, but on a night like this Jose would have been invaluable!

just want say this

Derozan had some great plays, bad plays, and ok plays

but one thing i've notice is he never passes the ball, only guys he gives the ball to in scoring opportunities, Sonny Weems and Amir Johnson

whats up with that, I was frustrated with Derozan when he had open guys and wouldn't make
the pass,

the guy has top 3 talent in hte league, and has 0 Basketball IQ

just like to point out our best player never had a play set up for him accept for 1 or 2, this is ridiculous compared to the Raptors long history of force feeding bosh

I've given Triano credit a couple times. The problem is, he isn't that good so it's not warranted all that often. And if you think Bayless cost us that game I have to question WFT you're watching.

Just in case anyone missed the preseason memo, due to our youth, inexperience and lack of a go to guy there's going to be more games like yesterday than not.

And if I ever have to see Kleiza dribble into traffic one more time, I'm going to start watching figure skating, which btw is on TV every weekend in the winter despite what jeff says.
