![]() ![]() Nice win by the boys. Everything was great. JOSE and Bosh were on beast mode. LOL. Overall good game and it was nice to see a blow-out game early in the season. Another good sign was that we were finally back to our old selves in the 3pt FG% ![]() |

![]() awesome that Raps win. I didn't see the game, just the box and the highlights from bigmac's site so .... just wondering
Did we really play much defence? CP3 still rang up 18 assists (WOW - add 8 FGs and he is involved in 26/36 of their made buckets) and Hornets were 48% from the field? |

![]() CP3 puts up 21 18 and 7 and they still get blown out. That man needs some players.
Anyway, this was the first game that Jose and Hedo really meshed together on the floor, and as everyone saw, it made a huge difference in the flow of the offence. Bosh, what can anyone say? Early season MVP. Absolutely incredible. The bench was solid again. I'd still like to see Demar play more. I still havent seen him make any rookie mistakes so far. His closest one was stepping on the sideline in the corner but that was on a bad pass to him. Hopefully we can keep it rolling in Dallas, but the percentages point the other way. If Bosh can have another huge game on the road I'll be super impressed. |

![]() Bargs with 9 boards and Bosh 100% from the floor
good thing the Raps pulled away in the 3rd to conserve energy for the Mavs game looks like the starters played well together, I wish I saw the game |

![]() I kind of agree, but I think he's being brought carefully which is is good imo. Maybe he makes less mistakes because there's no concentration lapses since he plays backup minutes. I'm sure he'll get more as the season progresses. Anyway the bench is doing great so I'm cool with the way things go.

![]() What about JT and the coaching staff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????
Sure the players defended adequately, shot well (awsome CB4), and was hot with the 3s in Q3 - good for them.... JT and the staff should be recognized for a good game plan, and the adjustments after the first half is spot on! Keeping CP3 out of the paint shutdown the NO offense. The timeliness of the helps by the bigs is just about perfect - similar to that displayed in the season opener; which is indicative of a good game plan with outstanding adjustments. Well Done JT! |

![]() What can we say about the Raptors season so far!? Well, we can say that beating the Cavaliers IN Toronto was a great start to the year! Watching Andrea Bargnani drop 28 against Shaquille O'Neal was fun, and seeing Chris Bosh attack the basket bodes well for this team. Seeing them fight off the Pistons after losing a big lead was very encouraging, but seeing them beat the Hornets last night IN New Orleans was a very good thing. Holding them to 90 points while limiting Chris Paul to 21 shows me that they are figuring out the game from their end of the floor out. Jose Calderon with 16 points and 8 assists, Jarrett Jack with 9 points and 3 assists while Marco Belinelli added 9 points and 3 assists and DeMar DeRozan added 4 points and 2 assists gives our back court 38 points and 16 assists. Very good production by the platoon back court that seems to provide a good balance to our front line. With 57 points and 20 rebounds, Hedo Turkoglu, Chris Bosh and Andrea Bargnani were hard to stop at times, and when they met resistance, they were able to find the kick out to a shooter who was open. finishing the game with 50.6% from the floor and 48.3% from beyond the arc, this team showed they are no longer one dimensional on offense. I am looking forward to watching them take on Dirk Nowitzki and the Mavericks tonight to see how far Andrea has come against the one he is most often compared to.

You have to give Jay and the staff credit for wins like these if you're going to slam them in losses. I wasn't too happy with the ORL gameplan but this one (halftime adjustments) was picture perfect. |
