bosh, as of late, has been completely disappointing me with his jumpshots, something that he can't, and never has been able to do, no idea why he gets into shooting positions, he can't shoot for shit, and keeps shooting the ball, what's his stats on FG % tonight?

i guesstimate like 10%

hedo and amir took us out of the gutter.
LOL!!! one of the top guys in the league in FT attempts takes nothing but jump shots? I would hate to see your reaction if we had a Rashard Lewis or even Vince on this team. Bosh has a deadly jumper when he's on as well, can't see why you would complain about him...

THAT, ladies & gents is a sign of a true superstar and franchise player.

Now if only he could hit those shots in the clutch....
you're forgetting that drive to the basket with 16 seconds left that put us up by 3.
that was HUGE!

do you watch him play? he goes at the top of the key so many times, and takes a shot and misses 9/10 times.

he's a monster of a board player, he can do FT, but he can't jumpshoot.

i think we're obviously watching different games, maybe i'm stuck back in time when the Raptors were playing in 2010, and you guys are in the present, in the year 2015 when chris Bosh can take jumpers and hit them with high efficiency

He has off games here and there but for the most part he's very consistent with his jump shot. You don't see that many other players who take his amount of jumpers and shoot over 50%, not sure where you're getting this 9/10 misses crap...

53% of Bosh's shots are jump shots, and he makes 45% of those.

By the way, I don't think there should be any doubt that a big part of Bosh's game is the jumpshot. He needs to shoot it regularly and accurately so that he can keep players guessing, allowing him to use his pump-fake and drive.

only thing you can accuse Bosh of is not reacting well enough or quick enough on double team coverages. sometimes he forces bad shots or turns the ball over too often when he can pass it out. but every player has his flaws and things to work on. that's Bosh's biggest flaw imo.

btw Bargs can't handle double teams well either I guess after tonight's game lol
they should train on it a lot imo.

The refs almost screwed us out of a win. I think 5 of the 6 Amir 'fouls' were clean straight up play on plays, or that one play where he got a charge and it was a clear blocking foul. Amir played like a true fucking baller today and the refs screwed him out of more PT and us getting an easy W.

And the last play? Harrington and Bargs go after the inbound, Harrington finally gets it then shoulders off Bargs with no call. Fucking BS.

Bosh getting manhandled all night AND getting no and 1 on a clear foul on Chandler on the last play.

I fucking hate the referees in this league.

Good on Turk for finally breaking out.

Bad on Bargs for continuing to suck on back to backs. Get on the treadmill.

I wouldn't be surprised if Bargs' back was bothering him again.... he just didn't look right out there tonight.

The refs were ok IMO, at least there was no bias
they could have easily called a blocking foul in Jack, he got there very late

Apparently he has some kind of foot injury
but he was clearly tired. He definitely needs to improve his strength and conditioning, but in fairness, he was asked to bulk up first, presumably they will switch the focus next summer, he's big enough now

And I don't think Bosh is going to leave. Colangelo has set up a perfect team for him. We have offence, defence (when Evans comes back as well) and we're young as hell. Definitely a promising future with Chris Bosh as #1.
he is consistent, no question about it, and he's a tremendous offensive player
but you CANNOT discount defense, it's just as important (if not more considering his position) as offense. Even on offense, he's not as good as wade, but it's not a big difference anymore. But defensively, wade is in a different class.

If we keep playing well and challenge the top 4 and win a round (or more), he'll definitely stay. Beyond that, it's up in the air. The team is clearly constructed around Bosh, and almost everybody has room to improve. If Bosh is ready to take the next step on D, and if Bargnani and Derozan continue to grow at this pace, the future is fairly promising. But he and Bargnani must make large improvements on defense before you can consider this team a contender.

he was very good, but he's suffering from bargnanitis (a fairly rare disease that makes the refs call fouls on you even when you're three feet away from the opposing player) ...

Bosh seemed to bulk up AND stay in shape.

That's besides the point though.

Bargnani might be the most clutch defender in the league though, I was thinking that today. He's nowhere near the best defenders in the league. But in terms of clutch defence and getting stops/blocks down the stretch, he's gotta be one of the best in the league.

Bosh/Bargs is/will be a force.

Just watched the highlights and saw all of Hedo's dunks. I think he is finally playing serious basketball now. No more layups for him.
