Jay looked close to tears. He's a strange dude, but I wonder if he has some inkling he's not coming back.

It's a process. This is just how it works, you look for potential in players and hope they can reach it. To me, part of making a winning team is keeping a core group of guys together for two-three years so they can grow alongside one another. Quick fixes don't usually work out. But we're too young a team right now, we need some veteran presence.

Man it is a relief the season is over!

I don't follow sports much, and this was the first year I've paid attention to a bad team. It was interesting, and sometimes fun, but I'm sure looking forward to the Nuggets/OCK playoff games to see some good basketball.

All very young players witrh potential. Davis & Derozan are gonna be good players in the NBA, James Johnson is just starting to play and adds some defense and effort, he could be a pretty good piece. In a first year of a rebuild i'm kind of impressed with the situation we're in going forward with a possible top 3 pick coming this summer. I have absolutely no problem with the young players on this team. They play hard and with the right coach, i think they can thrive in the future.

It's very simple, really. Someone finally figured out that against the worst three-point shooting team in the league that is missing its three best long-distance shooters, zone is a very efficient type of defense.

Not a rocket science.
