I don't care that we lost.

I really enjoyed the effort out of our young players.

Ed Davis: 17 points, 11 rebounds
DeMar DeRozan: 26 points
Jerryd Bayless: 26 points, 8 assists

SIDE NOTE: Sonny Weems (14 mins) 0 points

even tho they lost..
i have seen some bright spots for the future

if Raptors want to progress they have to get rid of Bargs and Jose, if you notice, they play better defense without the both of them, and they are mentally tougher..

Bayless was breaking down the Bulls defense, and Ed Davis had a double double.. can't have Ed Davis play with soft Bargs..

Bargs has to go..

Both PGs are really struggling with their shot.

yep - not a bad game. I was able to switch back and forth pretty nicely, and what I saw of the Raptors I enjoyed. The Bulls still put up a lot of points, but for most of the night they had to work pretty hard for them, and the Raptors players didn't have to scramble and work that much harder. There was a sense of organization and real promise out there on both ends.

when we lose and play with effort and the score is close, i dont mind the loss at all. im starting to think jerryd bayless can handle pg duties sooner rather then later

I think Jerryd's the type of player that gets motivated by minutes.

Could be a bad thing, considering he will likely come off the bench next season.

I turned between the NCAA games and the Raptors game. It was weird, every time I watched the game, the Bulls would go on a huge run, and when I got back to the UCONN game, the Raps will have gone on a huge run to get within a couple of points.

Like I've said in another thread, I'm ok with the losses, just as long as the team plays hard, doesn't get blown out and we develop the younger guys. Seems like that's what tonight's game was all about.

I think Bayless can start for us, he's given us flashes but is still inconsistent. I wouldn't mind seeing him start for us next season. Sure enough, JJ's game with improve. This lineup isn't bad at all that they ran. What concerned me the most was the bench points

without barg and calderon, defense more focus, offense with ball movement, just more tough.
i hope jay will contine to put them more often at starter duing the rest of the season. !

We still lost the game boys. Talk yourselves into believing that it was a good game lol. How did we do last time we played the Bulls.....not that it made any differance to our season.

our defense looked better, but it might have been an illusion
I think what's misleading is that we played with more effort, but still sucked defensively
we let the bulls put 113 on a back to back after all

what's interesting is that there is a remote chance that we saw our next season starting lineup tonight, save for whoever we pick in the draft ... It's not a bad core, but we desperately need an elite shot creator, we struggled a lot in that respect. And we have no 3pt shooting, which is a recipe for disaster when so many of these young players need space to operate.
