Good win.

Iggy had 10 turnovers. Solid job by Marion.

Again Douby playing under control and making some good decisions.

And Bargs had what, 6 blocks. Wow, what a terrible player. Let's add Baron Davis and Marcus Camby. That'll make us a better team!

Anyways, Philly took us for granted, thought it would be an easy win and we gained confidence throughout the game. Good win, but meh, we need a ton of changes still.

I missed most of it, but we looked alright when it counted.

I just said Bargs had 2 boards AGAIN.. 22/2/6, 9/3/1, 15/2/2. He also had the 2nd worst +/- on our team today @ -11.

Those are his lines the last 3 games.

I don't think Bargs is a bad player at all. I just don't see how anyone thinks he is a better block to build around than Chris Bosh.

Just my opinion though. Bargs is younger, has a smaller contract the next few years and we can get more in return for Bosh. But it's my OPINION that Bosh is a better building block... that's what these forums are for.

Stating "Bargs had 2 rebounds again" is a fact... not an opinion lol.

Last 11 games for Bargs= 19.1pts/5.8reb/1.6blk 51% from the field/42% from3

Over his last 42 games= 19.6PPG/6.5RPG/1.2Blk

He's just fine.

Douby is intriguing me in terms of what he might be able to do defending on the perimeter. I liked Marion's D a lot as well.

Bosh gave a little speech well before the game started. I don't know if they showed that at all. He basically just thanked the fans.

Parker made some nice moves but was unable to finish.

It was pretty fun. Came within 6 inches of nabbing a free jersey. Way too many whistles or it would have been even more fun.

Great seats. Thanks again to Raptorman.

Just came back from the game.
the theory of "Each time Shawn Marion or Pops posterizes someone we win" is starting to get more accurate.

Bosh 3rd year stats:

22.5PPG/6.3RPG/1.1Blk (39.5MPG) 50%FG

Bargnani 3rd year stats (as a starter, just to compare evenly MPG):

19.6PPG/6.5RPG/1.2blk (37MPG) 54%FG

Add to that Bargnani has more range, size and is better defensively and you can make an argument for Bargnani over Bosh considering his price tag. IMO neither is a 'Franchise player", but both together as part of a core groupe of let's say 4 is quite good especially if a true 2 guard is brought in somehow and Marion stays.

What's the difference in their 3rd years?

Bargs gets to play with an all-star.

LOL sorry... I thought it was clear.

I meant... the difference is.. Bargs gets to play with an all-star to draw alot of attention away from him.

So his stats, especially BPG/RPG (Which are basically the same as Bosh at the same time in his career and aren't reliant on playing w/Bosh), don't mean much because Bosh is also on the team?

Can't we just be happy to have two highly skilled, young developing big men?

Does it always have to be one or the other?

We can take solace in the fact that Bargnani vs. Bosh is less of an issue than TJ vs. Jose because at least the big guys don't have to split minutes.
