really? when he's being double teamed or when he goes it alone against three guys?

That's when i want him to give up the rock so someone gets an open look.

Honestly though... do you find that he's doing that (forcing it against triple teams) on a regular basis?

Hmmm.... ok.

Other than last night I never thought that it was much of a problem. Putting constant pressure on the D is how he's been getting to the line 11 times/gm.

When I think "out of control and needs to give up the ball" I think of TJ Ford.... not CB4.

But when he's matched up one on one against a guy like Amare, or Boozer it's quite clear to me he's the better player.

So just good...ok, but then their are only 2 or 3 guys you can consider great at his position, and they're all on the tail end of their careers.

He's the best young PF in the game.

On offence.

Not on defence.

If this guy learns to get involved on defence, he'll be the full package.

I like Bosh, I just think he's incomplete. I fear we will lose him, and he WILL then become complete. Conversely, you fear a guy getting paid to stay, and then find out he is done developing.

BC is in a tough spot.
Bosh however, is sitting pretty.

Agreed!! Bosh has BC wrapped around his little finger right now...The better player out of the 2 in our front court is hands down Bosh...& if we were to trade AB to get a tougher Center IE a Beidrins type player it would look nice beside Bosh...But if Bosh leaves we pretty much will only have the Beidrins type player left and no one left to fill it up at the PF spot Doh!!!

It's really like a bad game of chess!!!

I thought Bosh looked really nice on defense against Howard yesterday. He kept him from getting deep on most occasions, and changed his shots. And when the shots were rolling off the rim, I didn't see any Bargnani fighting for the ball, or anyone for that matter, so the second chance points came into play. You put the guy in a situation where he has someone else who can cover for everyone else along with him, and there's not going to be much to say about him being incomplete.

Agreed.

It would be interesting to see what they could finaggle for Bargnani.

Thing is, I'm not sure what you'd get.

Biedrins in any lineup, rather than Bargnani is not much of a problem as far as I can tell. If Bosh leaves he likely brings returns. It's not such a quandary. Bosh is doing his part to show what he can do. BC has to make sure this is a team he wants to play on. Pretty simple. Even if Bosh ourtright walks, BC has the same situation of convincing someone that this is a good team with promise.

except that person would have to have a much smaller salary because we're already over the cap and a Bosh departure wouldn't clear his whole salary amount below the threshold. this is crucial. off the top of my head i don't know what the numbers are, but i'd be shocked if we could even clear $8-10 million.

edit - judging by jakkal's salary thread (update aug 1) we are $24 mil over the cap. if Bosh walks outright, and he's the only guy that is gone from the equation, we're still over the cap, and we're fucked.

YES.

@ SJ.... I think that this may be the ideal time to trade Bargs. He's marketable as a 7fter who's close to 19 & 7 and he's young. God... if only there was SOME way to package Bargs with someone else... ANYONE else (other than Bosh) for CP3... it's a pipe dream though I know.
