the nets remind me of the raptors.
a few good pieces here and there, but mostly a bunch of scrubs and a few hustlers.
they are actually one superstar away from being a very very good team.

i watched bits of the 4th...Bargs in beast mode was crazy...hitting clutch shots, taking charges, getting blocks

and fck i benched Caldy on my fantasy team and he goes 15/14

Funny thing is, i like or bench (especially Bayless, Barbosa, Davis). If we can upgrade 2-3 spots in the starting 5 we're pretty good.

Very Very? I'll give you one very. And I'd as soon see the Raptors get a few more actual starters than look for a superstar. And those starters had better be good defenders. That might qualify as very very.

when i say superstar; Melo (i guess since theres so much talk already) comes to mind.
so when i say 'very very' its because i'm imagining Melo on that team.
they'd be very very dangerous, IMO.

but i totally agree with you in terms of the raps.
give me 2 talented starters (instead of a superstar) - especially guys that hustle and play hard - and that would make me very very happy.

I kept trying to watch Sam on the Nets bench when Bargs scored. He looked like he was smiling or maybe he was grimacing.

Good win. Bargs played good, JOse was awesome, and Weems shouldn't start when he comes back, Kleiza killed it tonight. Good game

Kleiza, when given good minutes, doesn't seem to force his game too much. Weems, when given any minutes, .....

because we don't really need to upgrade our starters? Oh dear. Don't make me have to stick up for Jeff.

happy with the win.
not a great game, but i give credit to trian for this one and his management in the 4th Q.

it's so often he make mistake in close gam at the end, so this time he make some good choice.

and did someone else notice that when we are a little short on wings, the team work better together.

maybe weems need to go with peja in a trade.
if we land a iguodala or a mayo caliber player, maybe we can be way better.

...has a stretch of games where he shoots 55 percent, near the top of the league.

Meanwhile Kleiza had an airball that went over the Net, from less than ten feet out. He barely hit front rim from just a few feet out. Way to not force things. He had an ok overall game, in that he did a lot of the little things, and then found a scoring touch when he finally stopped thinking he can create his own shots. And that is what Sonny desperately needs to get back to.

It was cool to see what Bargs said about Sam before the game, and then going over to him before tip off and hugging him. I really like Mitchell.. passionate guy, great personality.

I agree Weems can be effective over a stretch of games.... but so can Kleiza, as you've pointed out. I think both guys are forcing their games too much, but the minute crunch could be the issue. Going forward, I think Kleiza has more upside. He's more versatile and can do more things that this team needs than Sunny can such as posting up and perimeter shooting. Not saying Sunny can't get there, but he and DD are both very similar at this point. I like how DD gets to the rim more than Sunny though.

Shit, I missed it.

I always loved Sam. The article in the Sun today was good.
