Jose played pretty well IMO.

This was a great game. Surprised that Miami got it as close as they did, but happy that we took over the game when we needed to.

I thought Bargnani was the best player today. Followed by Bosh and Jack. Great to see JAck hitting some of those open looks. woot.

well... I guess Jose did OKAY. But fouling a guy that's shooting a 3 when the game is somewhat close is not smart. And what made it worse was the turnover right after Miami hit their free throws that brought the game even closer

not sure ... his D was poor and low scoring, but he still had 10 assists

If you didn't think he was the best player, don't vote for him.

Good game tonight. It woulda really been nice to see a consistent effort and win in blow-out fashion. Either way a win is a win. Good defence tonight, we just let the 3rd quarter let them have a higher score. Jack came up huge in the clutch and IMO his defence on Wade in the 4th quarter was awesome

I get a real kick out of the 'house' defensive analogy. Am i the only one?

I wonder what the word on Bellineli is... i saw him hobbling for a few possesions on that ankle of his before they took him out - this was right before Miami made it really close.

Jack (armstrong) was pointing out that he things (Jarret) Jack is coming around of late. Let's hope he's right.

If Beli was available in the fourth it can't be that serious.

Hopefully some of Jack's confidence will be restored after tonight.

Did anyone else notice this tonight -- during Miami's play where a big man (usually JO) hands off the ball to a cutting Wade in the high post, Wade routinely took 1-2 steps BEFORE dribbling after grabbing the hand-off? He looked like a running back taking a handoff from the QB. That pissed me off. The refs are trained to spot these things! Also, Jermaine travels on just about every post move he makes, and sadly, so do Hedo and Bargs after just about every pass they receive.
-----------

It's funny how the top guys in the NBA all seem to do a few things really really, ridiculously well, like at a completely different level than their peers. Wade's body control is so incredible on drives that he routinely manufactures fouls by driving hard in one direction, then switching direction mid drive and bumping INTO the defender for the foul. Wade is responsible for 100% of the contact, but since he's so quick at it he gets the call pretty much every time. Not even Jordan was that quick at that one particular move - switching direction mid drive right into the body of his man for the foul. Wade is also one of the top 3 quickest (and most efficient) guys in the NBA in getting from the 3 point line to the basket. He usually does it in 2-4 steps, then takes off and just makes something out of nothing every time.

Same thing Doug Collins uses. He used to tell his players that you want to keep the kids (the opposing team) out of the house (the paint) and off the fences (the 3 point line). Don't let them in the house, and run them off the fences. Let them play in the yard.

Bosh's block was a big play, and his presence in the post allowed for Jack to be wide open on his 3 and Bargs to be open on his.

No question Bargs, Jack and Hedo all played big down the stretch, but without Bosh out there, and those 3 guys are covered much more tightly by their man.

Good game from the bench. I actually predicted the starters would cough up the lead as the second half began.

One of these days you're going to have learn the basketball Snooch.... something beyond rooting for Bargs' 3-pt shots... it really is a beautiful and diverse game.
