Lucky bugger 'trane.... I'll be heading to game vs. the Pistons next week. Hope it's half as enjoyable as tonight.

Yeah they do. I predicted this team would struggle, then again i predicted we`d lose tonight so?

BTW, what about that bet we had when you said Wright would start and our disagreement about that? So now i guess i get to pick you`re avatar for the next month?

This needs to be said...

Can you imagine this team with Evans, once he`s healthy? I`ve gotta say, Evans, Johnson, Rasho are nice to have behind Bargs/Bosh. And it was comforting tonight to see Rasho come in for Bargs when he got in foul trouble in the 4th and see him D up Shaq.

Nice...they just showed the around the league nightly leaderboard and the Raps had a guy in each category. Bargs in points, Bosh in boards and Jose in assists.

My biggst problem with bosh, and I mentioned this before, is his lack pf court vision and his unwillingness to pass when facing overwhelming odds. In my opinion
, besides defnse, that's the biggst weakness in his game.

However, his newfound strength was visible in the rebounds department, especially off ones in traffic. And his defense was improved, although not as dramatically as andreea's.

And all in all , I thing this season Bargnani has a chance to emerge as the primary offensive weapon, especiallly when his 3pt shot is falling.

He was a defensive substitution for Jose at the end of the first quarter.

Yeah I agree. Instead of passing it to his teammate he rather take an impossible jump shot

impressed with the rotation on both sides of the ball and more than 1 player around the paint
first time I watched a game in a while without having to change channel
and they kept their cool when Cleveland made a run in the 3rd
and they got up on players on D
its safe to say there was no plan in the offseason
everyone did their part

Shaq and Z on the court at the same time is a problem and Shaq doesn't look good so far

Colangelo gets the nod for exec of the year award if things turn out well.

I watched almost all of the Magic games last year. I see many similarities between the games of last year's Magic and this year's Raptors.

Bosh may not be as dominant as Howard but there are some other areas in which Raps are better such as having a high IQ PG Calderon and quality back up in Jack.

At the moment two man game with Hedo and Bosh is not working but give it some time.

4th spot is no illusion. Raps have a player in Hedo who does not break in crucial situations. I am really encouraged by what I saw last night.

bargs was amazing shaq couldnt gaurd him at all!!
bosh put up the best fight in the 3rd to 4th quarter when Bargs was in foul trouble so that was amazing!!
hedo really saved us with those drives in the final moments!!!

and guys if u ask me demar really stood out he played really well he even block shaq and when the game was nearly a tie around 3rd quarter he made an excellent shot near the 3 point line and gave us a good lead!!!!!!!

What exactly are you expecting out of Bosh this year??

FGM isn't everything. The mark of a TRUE franchise player is one who can influence the game when his shot ISN'T going.....

Bosh did that tonight.
Bosh never infuenced a thing, forced a few things but influenced nothing.

That was all Hedo, Jose, Jack, Bargs, Belli, Rasho

Good morning to you too.

And its the truth.

Bosh' play didnt get the team as hyped as Jack grabbing the defensive board, taking it the length of the court and getting the bucket.

Or Hedo geting the block, setting up on the wing, getting the ball and driving dishing to the open man.

Shooting jumpers off of entry passes doesnt fire up a team.

Bosh had real nice numbers(said it earlier in the thread) but he still needs to improve on some things, namely not forcing anything on offense. More than enough firepower going around, should only take it if he is open.
