Bosh had 16 freaking rebounds!!

I want Bargs to win scoring champ this year, he's so freaking smooth. Looked ungaurdable last night. They even tried to put Lebron on him! lol.

However, I want Bosh to get 20 and 15 this year. If we lose Bosh and his 15 rbs/game... only Dwight will be able to replace that for us.

It's all well & good if you like Bargs... but don't make Bosh out to be some kind of useless scrub.

He's an all-star. AND an Olympian. AND widely recognized as one of the best young players in the league.
He didnt influence anything.

He played Basketball, had a solid game, but didnt change the outcome of the game, or in other words influence the game.

Oh wait, he almost did during that stretch in the 3rd when he reverted back to the hold the ball on the offense Bosh from seasons past.

By your guys logic I guess Rasho really influenced the game, with his 2-2 shooting, 2 rebounds in only 7 minutes!!!!

Or Banks who did nothing bad in his 25 seconds of play.

Come on guys key word is influence

Now, THAT is the max player. The front court of Howard and Bargnani would truly be the matchup from hell and a sure thing to get this very team to the Finals.

Yes, I've said it, Finals. Trade Bosh for Howard right now (not that Orlando would, of course) and this is an instant championship contender. That's what "dominant", "franchise", "max player" means.

Ya... that's what I meant. We have a guy that can give us 15 rebounds a game... and if we lose him only getting Dwight will keep up our rebounding numbers.

We're not getting Dwight.. THEREFORE... if we lose Bosh... we're screwed. That was my point.

Mine was slightly different. Yes, losing Bosh would weaken our team significantly, but not by 15 rebounds per night, certainly you realize that.

My point was with regards to his aspirations for the max contract. To me, nothing he's done over his career here warrants max money, not in this economy and not with what real max players like Kobe, LeBron, Wade or Dwight Howard demonstrate night in and night out. I wish for him to prove me wrong this season, but I won't hold my breath.

Ya. OK I can agree with you there. This is his year to prove everything to us. In terms of grabbing offensive boards, getting to the line, playing defence, calling out screen plays for Bargnani, making beautiful screens, taking charges and doing everything he needs to, to help us win.

However after a game of 16 rebounds and getting to the line 12 times, and snooch saying he didn't influence the game... is just.. blindness.

He got rebounds. Awesome.

People dont understand logic so I will just assimilate myself to the throngs of sheep and leave it at this:

"OMFG Bosh IS THE G.O.A.T. NOBODY IS BETTER AT GETTING TO THE LINE AND GETTING REBOUNDS< I LOVE HOW HE SHOOTS IT TIME AFTER TIME DOWN THE COURT. I LOVE HOW HE TAKES HIS TIME TO CALCULATE ALL HIS MOVES ON THE OFFENSIVE END AND HOW HE NEVER EVER BACKS DOWN FROM ANYONE ON THE DEFENSIVE SIDE OF THE BALL. HE IS EASILY A TOP !) TALENT IN THE NBA AND THE BEST PF. HE DESERVES AT LEAST 20+ MILLION A YEAR AND IF HE LEAVES THIS TEAM IS GONNA SUCK FOR ANOTHER 15 YEARS."

You are the enemy of logic.

Listen to yourself.

When NO ONE was crashing the glass to secure the ball... Bosh was.

When NO ONE was going to the rim late in the game... Bosh was.

OMFG!! Bargs SCORED 25 PTS!! HE IS AWESUMZ!!1111 BEST EVER!!!111

Honestly.... were you this impressed with Glen Robsinson too? Because he could really score as well.

Its Boshs job to crash the boards, that is what the team needs him to do.

And no one was getting to the rim at the end of the game because Bosh took it upon himself, But I do remember Jack, Jose, Hedo, Rasho all scoring taking it to the rim when Bosh got blocked, missed the shot, and turned it over.

It's Bosh's job to LEAD THIS TEAM and do whatever is necessary to get the win.

WHICH IS WHAT HE DID.

Is he in mid-season form yet? Probably not.

Was he shot on last night? Certainly not.

But he "influenced the game" in many other ways.

Boards. Screens. FTAs. Commanding multiple defenders.

Honestly.... this is a repeat of last season. Bosh could go for 40 + 20 but all you'd talk about would be the 2 FTs that he missed... lol....

He isnt far off midseason form.

Shot wasnt on-I dont care about that.

He got rebounds, we established that many times over and I agree-he did what he is supposed to do-grab rebounds

Screens, seriously......come on, any player sets screens through out a game I guess they are inposing there will on the game as well. Actually saw Banks set a good one in his 25 seconds on the court.

FTA's = 50% bailouts

Multiple defenders, OK sure, whatever, but I guess so to did Hedo, Bargs and at one point Belli

Bosh has never lead the team outside of a few instances or games.

That is why Hedo was brought in and Triano and BC and co has said just that, Hedo is a fourth Quarter guy who will come in and bring a calming factor to the team in close game situations providing them with a high IQ that willdramatically improve the teams ability to close out tough games.

If Bosh regularly led the team and willed the team dont you think that Hedo would never have be brought in for that role?

Or Rasho for his leadership and lockerroom presence?

Or even JO last season?

Seeing how he hit 2 jumpers in the with 2 men on him, One where he schooled their top defender, 1 as the trailer on the play for the long 3, 2 in transition, 2 off solid cuts off Hedo screens, and a few when Bosh wasnt on the court. Yeah I do.

Also antone wright really came thru on defence and i loved how the team was prepared for every line up the clevland had espacially james at 4, Bargs knew exactly what to do against him. Rreally good job by our coaching staff so far.
