Wii bowling FTW!

Nintendo could probably find a way to make Wii curling fun

it always puzzles me when people who like soccer say they can't stand baseball. I find them very similar to watch.... 95% of the time, absolutely nothing is happening and then there are flashes of action..... but for the most part it is all about the atmosphere.

I'm not big on soccer... I grew up with it and played it and all... but IMO soccer, like hockey, is over coached... when the game is important they all play 'bunker' defense and it gets unwatchable... nobody dares take a risk.

Difference is, that soccer is extremely corrupt... almost all games, from village leagues to World Cup are fixed... where is the fun in watching the game whose outcome is predetermined by some Mobster...

Baseball is horrible... there is nothing there... no game, no fun... nothing... you have bunch of guys standing on the field scratching their balls while one guy stands on the mound and takes forever to do anything... and what's up with 80 year old guys in uniforms... are they going to play?

Don't even get me started about drugs and shit...

Wow, ball movement. It feels so nice

My prediction for this summer is BC trades Calderon and Kapono for Baron Davis and then drafts Jeff Teague.

Baron/Ukic or FA backup PG
Teague/Parker
Marion/Delfino/Graham
Bosh/Bargnani/Graham/Hump
Bargnani/Rasho

Get Messina and roll out an awesome genius uptempo system like D'Antoni's... make Bosh have a lot of fun and put up awesome stats and chillin with Baron, plus that lineup might actually be top 4 in the East material if it works out.

I don't know if this gets us closer to a championship than blowing it up, but it's something I could see BC doing. He's a revenue/winning coach, having the most exciting team in the league in a recession would make MLSE happy for sure.

Baron Davis?

Why would you want Baron Davis?

Am I missing something?

You have seen what Baron can do in a run and gun system with no true PF (GS shocks Dallas in playoffs). With Bosh and Bargnani and marion to run the frontcourt... that seems to be a good lineup. Not to mention GS is absolutely crap without him. He's also a CLUTCH guy who can make clutch shots... Raps havent been in that situation of losing games close lately... and so people seem to be forgetting we're still missing that go-to guy in the clutch (slasher).

I'm definitely down for this trade, Baron plays a little better defence than Calderon but his injuries and his age tell me that this deal won't go through.

"We have to realize nice guys sit at home and watch the playoffs," Bosh said. "That's just how I feel. Maybe I'm wrong, but if you play with more intensity you're more likely to win and you're more likely to play better basketball."

Bosh backed that up in a face-to-face exchange with Minnesota's Brian Cardinal after being fouled on a first-quarter drive to the basket. Both players were called for technicals afterward.

"I don't accept people yelling in my face," Bosh said. "I don't do that to other people so I expect the same thing in return. I'm going to turn it up and, if guys do that, I hope they're ready to handle where it's going to go."

Minnesota coach Kevin McHale felt too much was made of the incident.

"In our league if two guys aren't kissing it's an altercation," McHale said. "There's no altercations anymore. Go back 30 years and you'll see some altercations."

I was at the game last night. Got my bobblehead. Hopefully it's the last and they'll go out on a note of actually resembling the player involved.

The highlight of the night for me was just seeing Kevin McHale in person, and imagining seeing him in person a couple of decades earlier.

Forget Baron Davis. This team needs to get Mike Miller. The difference in the early going was the energy level and smart play of Miller, vs. the slow-footed play of Parker. When Parker picked things up the game turned around.

Run and gun? Absolutely not happening yet. Joey completely missed a wide open Marion who had leaked out down court. A run and gun team does not do that.

But we are seeing a team that for the most part plays for each other, now that JO is out of the picture, and so there is no sense of giving up when the collective result lags at times. They recovered nicely in a way they could have made use of all season long. If that can be carried over into next season, and they are able to pick up a guy like - say Mike Miller - then there's little reason for whining from me.

Oh - and Marion: he is nice and loosey goosey in the shootaround. I really like what he brings to this team. He's got confidence to spare. And with his ability to facilitate, that extra confidence has a chance to rub off.

And here's the kicker - which I found hilarious. The camera is scanning the players during the Canadian anthem, and there is Marion singing along. The guy is definitely unique.

Neat idea I suppose, however If I were gonna get an old guy thats always hurt and plays little defence to run the point, I'm thinking it's a no brainer that you pick up Nash. He's still very clever running a team.

you do know that Teague is a shoot first PG like Davis and Arenas

If BC is trading Calderon he's going to trade him to Portland

I've seen CSKA play and they do not run

BTW the Leafs are raising season ticket prices
you think they'll do the same for the Raps
