The Clippers need to fire Dunleavy, dump Baron, and trade Camby in the offseason.

Start over with Gordon Thornton and Kaman, with Novak and DeAndre off the bench and go from there.

Hire West as their GM, and hire Saunders as their head coach.

Theyre really fucked up.

Fourth star will go to Bargnani for being out and our center not standing @ the 3 pt line... and thus letting us winning the rebound battle

also o'bryant made me laugh. he played good though just looks lost on D.

They won't do much as long as Sterling is their owner.

I'd like to see marion start as the 4 and graham the 3 for the next few games. It's not like we're going to miss Bargs' 3 boards per game.

It's also nice not to see Calderon, Kapono and Bargs stand around the 3 pt line and let Bosh iso and no1 goin for the boards if he misses. I also like how triano put Kapono in with Ukic and not calderon.. for the drive and kick.

only if Bosh is out and we win it means AB should be the man, if AB is out and we win it means nothing. either way, who cares, shitty teams

20 and 7 in 31 minutes

Bosh

Wow Bosh is awesome.

Totally not replaceable.

Its funny if we actually somehow got Blake Griffin, how this situation would come up with him in 4-5 years too.

The Raptor franchise player cycle:

Love them in yrs 1-2
Still like them in yrs 3-4 but expecations being too high a group of fans start the hate parade
Hate them and want them gone for penny on the dollar in yrs 5-6 or so and think youre going to be better without them for a long time.

Then repeat.

If Bargs signs an extension, hes gonna be another victim in 3 yrs.

The problem isn't Bosh or Bargs, it's having both at once and this break-up moment has been inevitable since BC stupidly drafted Andrea. Interior defense is the most important thing for a basketball team especially if you allow penetration as much as we do, and they don't bring it. Granted neither does Voshkul and I think this win is more about the Clips than him playing over Bargs, but the point remains.

The only way Bosh and Bargnani could work together is if the wing players never let their man past them, so they don't have to protect the rim and aren't exposed. The 47 win team had the right idea with TJ (who is not a great defender because of his size, but he doesn't let his guy past him), Parker when he could move, Garbo. Jose, old Parker, Marion (who's man to man d is weak), Kapono, Graham, Moon on the other hand are ridiculously wrong for these two.

In any case even if we did have those stoppers I'm not sure it'd be enough to make up for the lack of interior presence by Bosh/Bargs. To make it work we'd need absolute studs, like a lineup of Rondo, Battier, Artest. Every team would kill for a perimeter rotation like that anyways no matter of their frontcourt, so that doesn't really help us or make it easier.

But if BC DOES realize this, he can make a little headway by making a move for Hinrich (Chicago may just dump him to free up room for Gordon), then drafting Henderson and resigning Delfino. That'd give us a good start and would make us a much better team for the moment, especially if Jose came off the bench in a 6MOY worthy role again.

No. The raptor's wont be fine w/ Bosh and Bargs because Bargs stands on the wing and doesnt rebound. Unless you pair him with a Shaq or Jefferson or Dwight..

We were 8-9 to start the season under Mitchell.. with Bargs on the bench. I'm not saying by any stretch Bargs is a bench player... but for this team... We'll be better off getting a traditional center and keep Bosh, or play the way LA does with Pau / Odom (neither pau nor odom stay near the 3 pt line). When you have a guy like okur (bargs), you need a good back to the basket guy like Boozer.

Hopefully Bargs will be out the next few games so this theory will be tested.
