That's a tough call considering he's really the only perimeter presence we have on defense. So with the bad also goes the good if you take out Moon. Talk about being a rock in a hard place if your Triano.

It is a tough place for Triano but then you have to go with experience. Somewhere there is a lack of understanding. Whether it is the coach not telling them what NOT to do or the players make bad choices on their own.

The main reason we lost besides being the inferior team is Joses deplorable job on Rondo which ultimately caused the Celtics swinging of the ball, and of course Rondos direct passes to Allen on the wings for open 3s.

He cant shoot Jose. Play 5 feet off him.

I dont like the scouting job done coming into this game by Jay. Look back on how the last 7 teams played the Celtics, especially the Knicks Lakers and Cavs. They all put their SF's on Rondo and doubled off him with that guy(with Jeffries, Kobe and James) on Pierce and KG. He should have put Moon on Rondo and Jose on Allen and had Moon at 17 feet when Rondo was at 21 ft and they wouldnt have come close to 31 pts or 33 pts in the 1sth alf and a 20 pt second half lead.

You cant put your worst defensive player on Rondo and expect anything, the Celtics go how Rondo goes now, and Jose played him the worst way you can play him, close.

So, who's fault is then thriller? Jose or Jay's?

You should put in to be the next coach of the Raptors. Ap comes off injury doesn't start. Jose come of injury on one leg and starts and allows Rondo beat him off the dribble every play.

Both. When Jay saw Jose couldnt even come within arms length of Rondo he should have either subbed Ukic in for him or switched him over to Allen.

And with Jose, THE GUY CANT FUCKING SHOOT, MOVE BACK. Why is he playing him like hes Chauncey Billups out there and basically forcing him into the middle? Is Jose stupid? At least try to keep him infront of you. He just forced him into our bigs all night and you could tell that wasnt the gameplan at all and it killed us in the 1st and 3rd qtrs.

i agree with this whole Calderon thing maan he should come back when he is 100 percent not 90 not 95 100! and how Calderon played defense on rondo was just stupid i think everyone just about knows rando cant shoot. and i think triano shoulda watched the last couple games the celtics p[played and how a bigger played against rando and how the PG guarded Allen. our wing players couldn't keep up with Allen as Allen ran through picks if Jose or any of our Pg were on Allen he would have had a harder time hitting the shots.. but still once Allen starts hitting its ova he can hit um with his eys closed

i will blame him for the shot in the 4th were he was open for 3 and missed he hesitated a bit that cost us the 3 big points at a big moment. even if he drove it still woulda worked.. its just a tough break

How come no complaints about Parker? 2 for 12, and Allen goes 11 for 14, including 8 of 10 from 3 pt. Hopefully Allen is tired tomorrow from all his shots, plus 43 minutes of PT.

Not a great game for Bosh, but Garnett was not very good either.

Currently the league book on Rondo is put someone bigger on him, and play off him to make him shoot. Would be interesting if Triano gave Ukic the start tomorrow.

Raps actually fouled out Scalabrine, its been a long time since I've seen them actually go at a player. Also Raps managed to out rebound Celtics, and bench outscored Celtics.

they didn't exactly go after scalabrine, he took some funky fouls. Everyone knows their bench sunks. No complaints from parker becasue he didn't go around shooting shots he couldn't make, It isn't unsusual for parker to have a bad gane anways. Still i'd rather have parker over moon any day

Rather than dwell on the negatives, I'm chosing to applaud the efforts of Joey G.

He didn't shoot particularly well, but got to the FT line 9 times, grabbed 8 boards, a steal, a couple of blocked shots, a couple of assists and more importantly showed a little fire out there.
