Bargnani is just great

I really do think we're very close to being like an East contender. Upgrade the wings next year, upgrade the coach, and I think we're almost there. Our frontcourt is fantastic and our PG is an allstar... this is the best Raptors roster assembled to date.

i actually think the roster they had the year mcgrady left was and is the best to date. athletic as hell with dee brown and dell curry swishing threes, with willis, oak, and AD knocking heads. if that team had stayed together another year and butch Carter didn't have those psychological episodes off the court then we'd be playing miami in the ECF, and not the knicks.

Just in case you missed it the first time.

If you have nothing positive to say about the team, please do not post in this thread.

That was a great play to get Parker the 3.

One positive:

Bargnani, living up to what SUPERJUDGE always said he would, has moved ahead healthy and motivated and takin the next step, allowing a little relief to those who understand that Mr. Youtube will no doubt bolt as soon as he can in 2010.

In two years, a Bosh vs Bargnani battle would be awesomebto watch.

note to the haters, Bargnani is faster than you think.... once he's more comfortable in the overall game setting, he will be every bit as good as Bosh, except better in the paint, and beyond the arc.

And not to mention better at defense, shot blocking, passing, dribbling and taking care of the ball. Chris is a better rebounder though......

And Chris aint leaving.

I absolutely love the ACC during a playoff game. outside of utah and golden state, i don't know if there's more hostile and loud place to play. i love the energy of the crowd, and the fervor. catching an old playoff game on raptv, hearing the crowd, gives me goosebumps.

Positive things:

*Bosh/JO are an amazing combo down low.(Combined 40/20 Per game)
*Bargnani is much improved especially on D and averaging almost 2blk per game and seems to have his confidence back (good frame of mind).
*Black uniforms are Kick ass.
*Calderon averaging 14PPG/9.4ast playing his ass off.
*4-3 on the road.
*Not playing with any consistency, but still a .500 team!
*Great crowds at the ACC!

Bargnani: His change has been awesome if you think about what he did last season.

Bosh: Bringing some intensity from the Olympics and being there night in and night out.

Calde: Steady, as usual.

JO: Bringing exactly what he was supposed to, toughness and activity at the defence and other guy to go (more or less, but he is in the way) at the offense.

Sam: he looks better with the glasses.

Do you mean Sam Weir?

That would explain Joe Flaherty being in the stands.
