Default Please change the Raptors INTRO in the ACC!!!!!

DAM!!!! after seeing it 3 times now im getting sick of how reduclious that dam video is! its suposted to pump up the crowd and get them noisy, instead they laugh and the ACC is dead in the first quarter beucase that video makes them depressed. Please change the video, at least change the dam song, its just so bad it makes me sick at this point, Detroit stopped doing thier little dance thing when it started beucase they realized they didnt have to do it beucase they were too busy laughing at our team. CHANGE IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fans aren't quiet because of a video, they're quiet because their team starts games very slowly. Million dollar players shouldn't need a video to get them pumped about a pro game starting. Given both these statements are true, changing the video would do nothing other than render this thread moot.

hmmmn....

Why do the Raps even need and intro. Just use an announcer/DJ to say the players names and play to the crowd, dim the lights, put some music on and use a spotlight on the players.

No vidz are needed

Maybe they'll change it midseason much like they did 2 years ago. We can only hope. "In the Ayer" is a crappy song.

I dunno.....you look at videos and the music and it does have an effect for the crowd at the beginning. See alot of the examples out there. If they had no effect then they really wouldn't be there. It's meant specfically to get the crowd excited. If it's not doing its job then well, it's a fail.

the Raptors playoff intro a couple years back was good
last year's "Stronger" intro was decent except for the fact that like half the nba teams used the same song and for some dumb reason the intro video would quote the lyrics which had nothing to do with basketball

For real though, the team should just keep away from the "pop culture" type of song.

Just go with something specifically for the team and quit doing something top 40.

I remember the Bulls of the 90's, and man when that tune started up the place went nuts.

just pick 1 of those classical symphony songs that's intimidating, then they can keep the song for years

How about "The Warrior". It's from the 80's, but a kickass song and might get the message through to our players to stop being pussies and fight back, get tough.
