This one is a no brainer for me. Hands down a "A".

Coming into this season I don't think there were too many that could of imagined the impact Jamario made with the team. Still has alot of growth in my opinion which I'm confident he'll work on this summer. Would defenitely like to see a more aggressive Moon on the offensive end next season. More attacking the hoop and settling less on long range shots like he did so much this season.

From a defensive perspective he was easily our best help defender, but still had issues defending one-on-one which in his own defense he did improve on towards the end of the season. I'd like think that he'll be even better defensively next season and there's no reason why he can't be our very own Bruce Bowen within the next couple seasons. Minus the dirtiness of course.

I give him an A. allbeit an A-.

positives:
-great defensive player (i'll say the best on the team)
-the best shot blocker on the team easy
-great rebounder (i'd say the best natural rebounder on the team)
-best dunker on the team
-not phazed by "big games"(see impressive playoff performance when called upon)
-such an incredible story of rags to riches
-one of the most likeable players on the team

negatives:
-lousy 3 pt. shooter, but still shoots a lot from outside
-tentative to attack the rim
-doesn't get to the foul line enough (kind of the same as above)
-needs to hit the gym.

I didn't even think he'd make the team out of training camp.

Great rookie season.

hey, just wondering.

He's signed for next year, but he's still making "pennies" by NBA standards. Do you guys think there is a chance that BC may sign him to a new contract that will be more "reflective" of his skill?

Also, just wanted to point out something that i heard in his phone interview with Swirsky on the FAN the other day. somehow swirsky mentioned that he's under contract for net season and it's a "give in" that he'll be back in Toronto. Moon then says something to the effect of not ever making any assumptions in life and that of course he wants to be back, but he didn't think it was gauranteed that he'd make the roster. That's how i interpreted his answer at least.

God bless him.
I seriously love this guy (nohomo.)

On a side note, you fuckers that gave Andrea a D, and Moon an A, really need to rethink your criterea not to include expectations.

I gave Moon a B for the same reason Benzo already stated - not enough driving and cutting to the basket and too much staying on the perimeter on offence. Could be his coach's fault, though...

What's Andrea's "bread & butter"? Offense and offense only. Boy did he ever have a spectacular year this season. What Jamario's? Defense and rebounding. Something that he lead this team in all categories or was close to it. So that being said considering there's not much of difference in their offensive numbers, I'd like to say Moon's worth to this team at this point is definitely 10 times more important than Bargnani's. So yes, considering the expectations for both were at opposite ends before the start of this season, it definitely warrants a "D" for Bargnani and an "A" for Moon. Truth hurts B, I know.

And one was a 1st round draft selection, the other one was playing for the Globetrotters last year, not knowing if he'd get paid. Expectations were MUCH higher for Andrea.

I would like to know where the "Defense" stat is, that you are eluding too.

Opposing swing men ate our lunch all year, and part of that is Jamario's responsibility....ask Mike Dunleavy.

I just wanted to know if Salary and Expectations are a criteria for you....cause I don't think it should be, salary mabey....in which case Darrick Martin better get a friggen A too.

diference between Bargs and Moon and why he deserves an A and Bargs a D.

-Moon doesnt score and he is extremely useful on defense and rebounding.

-Bargs doesnt score and......
