Found this on RealGM. Good thread:

In my mind, losing Jose for 30-40 games would just cripple this team moreso than losing Bosh for 30-40 games (especially with JO now on board). Ukic would have to fill in a greater void prematurely at PG, but we'd certainly have to pick up a veteran PG off the scrap heap. This is where the value of having Delfino will be missed. My top five list of players we could least afford to lose to a long absence are:

1. Jose
2. Parker
3. Bosh
4. Moon
5. JO

I just think that we'd get more killed defensively with Moon out long-term and having to rely on Kapono and Joey to fill in against the other league studs. I put Parker ahead of Bosh because there really is no true back up to the SG spot. Could we survive with Hassan Adams starting 30-40 games or having Moon and Kapono starting games and trying to guard other athletic wings and having to play 40+ minutes. Surprisingly, losing Bosh isn't as critical if JO is healthy and if Bargs could start at the more natural PF spot with Hump/Jawai and even Joey backing up. Am I way off base here? What's your Top 5?
IMO it's Jose.

We pretty much only have one PG signed right now, if he goes down we'll be in big trouble. I'm not saying Bosh/JO isn't important as well but either one can sub for the other if one goes down with the talent level still on par. Where no other player on the squad can match Jose's PG skills.

Thoughts?

Hands down its Jose. In some cases your only as good as your PG is, especially here in Toronto. No offense to Ford, but before he came back Jose was in a zone for about 20 games and we put together a string of wins and some big wins as well against some good teams too. Jose dynamic changed this team for the better too. Move ball movement on offense which really opened up for the floor for everyone, but especially Jose himself and Bosh. We lose him, I'm not sure we can recover with Roko and a player to be named soon to take over the reigns at the point.

In the quote he named all five starters. Of course there the most valuable there the ones that get the most playing time and the ones with more talent.

and its crazy to think of Bosh as our third worse to lose. jose is number one but 60 percent of all are plays will involve Bosh in the high or low post.

Bosh. There may not be as much backup for Jose, but Bosh is by far our most valuable player. Look at how bad things went when he went down last year.

I would say Bosh then JO... since the Raptors are now designed to be a legit half court team, having the offense run through the low post...

Now this is assuming Barg does nothing special... if he does become a prominent 6th man this year... than it will be Jose!

If we don't get a veteran combo guard that can run the team,i'd say that Calderon would be the most difficult to lose. If Ukic is thrusted into the PG position ealry in the season for 30+ games we're in trouble.I think if that were to happen you would see Parker handling the ball alot.

why is there so much discussion about injuries? you guys are such a bunch of pessimists.

yes, i understand that they're part of the game, but i don't understand why you would be making lists about whose loss would effect the team the most.

We're pessimists because we care about losing some key players like Jose, Bosh and JO due to injuries?? If anything it's the opposite of that.

Jose, no question in my mind.

We've played quite well without Bosh during the past two seasons, and with JO on board will have even more insurance up front.
