The only players he could take minutes from is Kleiza and Fields if he faulters. But really with Anderson as our 3rd SF no way will BC sign Pietrus.

yeah, i mean i like pietrus but as of right now, reputations put to one side, i would say AA is a better player than pietrus.

AA is cheaper, not better. Don't be fooled by AA's short run here, though I agree Pietrus wouldn't make a substantial impact here either. There is a reason AA was playing in the D league for so long, though I can see him being a deep bench option as a positive.

fair comment.

"better" is a very diificult statement in the nba. I still kinda think i'm sticking with that opinion, neither is great and certainly neither is poor either. I don't think i'm being fooled by AA's run last season, i think people put a bit too much stock in the idea of people playing for contracts. it does have an effect but only if the player has a real bad attitude will you see a big drop off imo. And AA has a fantastic attitude. He's also a good locker room guy, better to have the guy who's alreayd been with us and knows how things work.

so, conclusion, maybe "better player for us" would've been a better statement to make.

Maybe so.... it's at least easier to agree with. One thing I will say is that AA does seem to be consistent, and with all of the inconsistent wings we've gone through, that is a very nice quality to have.
