Phil Jackson Regarding Sam's Firing

Nice praise from a guy like Phil.

I don't call it stirring the pot TO, I'm just still on the fence regarding the firing. I like Sam and although a change needed to be made, the players are held accountable too. Time for Bosh to zip it with his constant self promotion and be this MVP he yearns to be.

Yeah Sam's kind of like Doug Collins who had the Bulls prepped to do great things, so Jackson could walk in and get all of the glory.

Wha? lol.... I still think that people are reading into those comments WAAAAAY too much.

The self-promoting, arrogant pricks from the 2003 draft were Lebron and 'Melo lol...

Phil is obviously bitter that he loses his two easy games of 82. Facing us, he prepped his players with a simple picknroll vid.

gotta give jackson some credit. he put the ball into pippen's hands and convinced jordan it wouldn't effect his scoring titles.

What did they expect him to say? Sam Mitchell is a bad coach? Of course he'd say something polite. Coaches don't bite other coaches

What was BC doing in LA?

Coaches can talk shit about other coaches. It has happened in the past.

Why was BC in LA? Because he's the GM and he can do whatever he wants.
More importantly, he wanted to see first hand how his team would do on the roadtrip. Sam was a deadman walking.

it will be a cold day in hell when you'll see one coach criticizing another coach, or saying he was fired on merit Well, maybe except George Karl and Larry Brown ...

+1

Real MVP candidates don't curl into fetal position against the best teams in the league.
