Thumbs up Parker Amongst League's Most Underrated Players

At least according to Charley Rosen he is. I think I'm more surprised because Rosen actually had something nice to say about the Raptors or in this case one of our players.

Parker on some nights looks like MJ of his heydays and on some night he looks like MJ of today.

Parker is starting slowly every season, but he picks up his game in the second part and playoffs. I like him, he is smart but he is not getting any younger. Good to have him in Raptors uniform for at least another two years, eventually coming off bench.

The only problem i have with the slow starts is that the slow starts have gotten longer and more proloned. The first 2 months were horrible for AP. And as he gets older his slow starts will just continually get longer and eventually will probably lead into after the ALL Star game. It's all great now that he's finally playing better, but let's face it, if he played more like this in the first 2 months we may be closer to .500.Where we are now isn't his fault but he was part of the problem.

The dilema now for BC is, does he keep him and sign him and watch him decline in the next few seasons or trade him now when he can actually get something for him? Difficult situation. I'm guessing we keep him.

Do you think that you are the only one who knows Parker situation? I am pretty sure, GMs around the league knows exactly Parker's value, you won't probably get a young promising player for AP.

We should get a young SG from Draft and AP shall train him or mentor him or something like that.

I don't buy the slow-start argument for AP..... During our first 3 games, his defence was incredible..... then it faded away.

AP takes some crazy spin and fade away shots. He makes them when it counts. He is a good palyer and would be a great asset off the bench.

rosen is right.

Parker is the type of uy Championship teams have on board, and will pay nicely to have.

Think Ron Harper.

Think Ron Harper.
I agree but they have him coming off the bench...Think Posey but at the 2...when Posey is a starter he is an average 3 at best

Did you see MJ recently? He is quit overweight.

I still remember him failing on his dunk attempt here in Toronto when he was playing for Wizards... no lift, none at all... funny stuff.

Parker would be perfect as a backup for guys like Kobe or LeBron.

We need to trade Parker ASAP. If we need him as a backup PG next year we can resign him, for now we need to get 1st round pick out of him.
