Heat PalmBeachPost.com: Dwyane Wade should tell Pat Riley to trade for Chris Bosh

It's a cinch, in fact, that Riley at least will examine ways to bring Bosh to Miami sooner rather than later, and Beasley almost certainly would stand as the trade centerpiece the Raptors would want in return.

How enamored is Riley of Beasley?

Surely, he appreciates the fact that Beasley is a scoring savant. But he comes with a sometimes-galling immaturity. It was Spoelstra who said Beasley "can be a little odd" at times. Riley doesn't suffer fools well, and neither he nor Wade can afford to at this point.

There's also the matter of the Heat not knowing quite how to use Beasley, who can't seem to find a comfortable place on the floor unless the Heat is willing to lose Udonis Haslem and his heavier contract at power forward, which, to be sure, exists as a possibility.

Spoelstra, though, says part of the summer project will be working Beasley at small forward, which is a stretch given his defensive shortcomings.

Riley should make a deal for Bosh if he sees an opportunity. Because the next couple of Heat seasons ought to be at least as much about keeping Wade happy as they are about winning.

D-wade should ask Riley to trade for Bosh. But the only problem is Wade himself is the only player we'd want.

Git errrrrr done BC!

I still often recall my dream from many moons ago where we made a draft day trade with Miami. Carter for the number 5 pick and filler. Then we selected Bosh and Wade.

Miami and Toronto aren't good trading partners, we'd have to be getting a lot in return - and even still, the salaries wouldn't match. If I'm dealing Bosh to Miami, they'd have to take Kapono and Banks back no questions asked. And in return, in addition to Beasley, I'd want Chalmers, Cook and their first rounder this year - but alas, the salaries don't match, so who'd have to be coming back in order to make this work? O'Neal. O'Neal coming back though gives us options - a golden expiring contract (possibly parlayed to Milwaukee for Jefferson/Gadzuric) . Renouce a couple of our guys and sign Boozer (if he opts out)..so with that being said, that starting lineup could be

C- Bargnani
PF - Boozer
SF - Beasley
SG - Jefferson
PG - Calderon

I think I gotta stop sniffing the white out..

Haha...the problem with that lineup is that there's only 1 ball. You know peeps are gonna be bitching about touches.

i have to agree
if you trade with miami you have to get o'neal's contract back
other than beasley, they don't have much else that is appealing

if you are going to take beasley though....you have to play him at PF. playing him at SF will ensure that team has bad D for years to come

This Miami trade only works out for us if we can later flip JO for others (Milwaukee for Jefferson/Gadzuric or Chicago for Deng/Hinrich)
