Has to be under. Or, better said, if we are to remain confident that this team has gotten better, than we cannot assume he will carry the bulk of the offence at his position. The other guys have to be expected to share in the shots.

Or he gets that much better.

Then there's reality.

it's hard for a bench player to score that much

I'm going to say over.... strictly to go against the grain and also because its not impossible.
his best scoring output season he put up 21.5, this season, he'll have a good pg to take away Defensive pressure, and he'll be playing his natural position of PF.
if he can average 20 easy, i dont see why 23.5 is out of the question.
plus, he's entering the late 20's when players seems to hit their primes... get used to their bodies, put on more strength, add confidence, understand the game more.
i feel confident that this will be his most productive season yet.

With the improved offensive of lowry & DD I'd say he'd be somewhere around 21 ppg.
Just my guess.

its going to be close, he is an elite scorer and could average more but now that we have lowry on the team with demar derozan sharing the ball its going to be difficult to get his points

lowry should have a easier time scoring the ball this year, didn't have the kind threat on the floor in houston that Bargnani is even the haters have to admit what Bargnani does on offense makes it easier for guys he plays with

Under,I believe he'll score between 18.7 and 19.6 pts. Bargnani is naturally gifted at shooting but lacks that aggressiveness, intensity and most important, referees respect,to score nearly 24 ppg. Other players at his position(PF/C) like JV,AJ,ED,QA will eat away at his minutes if he doesn't play better defensively too.

I think he'll break the 20 point barrier and have better efficiency than last season, but 23.5 is pretty steep. Have to go under, with another real offensive threat in Lowry added to the team.

Under.

Best player on the team is Lowry. Ed Davis will be pushing him for minutes, and Bargnani won't be putting up 16 to 18 shots a game to get his 20 points.

I doubt anyone will be pushing Bargnani for minutes. Casey believes he can use him as "Our Dirk", he'll get his 35mpg. But i agree about the under. Lowry, Derozan and even Fields who will be taking 3's will take away some of Bargnani's touches. I doubt he gets 16 shots per like last season and certainly not the nearly 18 shots per he got the season before that.

His best season was in 2010-11 where he averaged 19.4ppg. It took him 17.8 shots per game to do it, he won't get that this season. If he gets 15 spg can he be more efficient? With Lowry on the floor, maybe Bargs gets a little less attention but on less shots i can't even see him matching that offensive output.

I predict 20/6

yeah, sorry i meant that (19.4 was last year). point is, he won't get 18 shots per game this season and if so how can he top 21.4ppg on less shots since he also shot goo percentages that season.
