Can we make this the official post-loss doublespeak thread?

I'll go first:

Bargnani going down early really hurt us, he's our guy defensively. He really makes it tough for Aldridge.

How many amnesty provisions can we trade for because I can't decide on just one player!

Bargn88 12-11-2012 12:31 AM

John Lucas had the same amount of 3 pointers as the Entire Blazers Team...Guy can ball

Beans 12-11-2012 12:38 AM

I'm just glad the losing culture has changed.

And without winning too many games like last season!

carp 12-11-2012 12:42 AM

It just feels so good to finally be an up and coming team again.

DSWC 12-11-2012 12:46 AM

I'm just glad that we're defending the perimeter a LOT better now. Holding a team to 0/20 from behind the arc speaks volumes for this team's defensive improvement.

carp 12-11-2012 12:50 AM

It's better that they just missed all those three point shots so that we didn't have to bother running out to defend them this time.

The best thing about this team is the depth. This is the deepest team we've had in years. I mean, two starters go down and you're talking no drop-off. None whatsoever.

Toby 12-11-2012 12:53 AM

Amir's mouthpiece toss at the ref shows his accuracy is improving.

Beans 12-11-2012 12:54 AM

What I'm worried about is that Ross and JV are going to be too good.

Brilliant. Bravo! :yeah:

carp 12-11-2012 12:58 AM

That's how you win! What just happened, I blacked out.

"Team manages to hold opponent to zero 3pt field goals made on twenty attempts and still loses by 18

Going into the record books baby!

Thug 12-11-2012 01:32 AM

When you have guys like Amir out there, guys who have so much emotion invested into the game, its hard to not be a fan of a team like that.

carp 12-11-2012 01:54 AM

It's better to have won and lost than it is to have ever won again.

Beans 12-11-2012 01:58 AM

What I like best about tanking is that it's easy for a team to flick the switch to go to not tanking.

Toby 12-11-2012 02:06 AM

Blazers showed grit beating one of the top teams in the league.

carp 12-11-2012 02:09 AM

We almost had that game too but unfortunately the other team was just better again.

We were beat by a high caliber team, nothing more needs to be said
