Kapono was good enough already. His clutch shots is what's keeping him at the top. I remember watching the Orlando series and he'd be getting like 5-6 clutch 3pters every game and i'd always be like "God damnit Kapono, do you ever miss?"

I'd rather stay with Parker, Moon, and Kapono then sign chucker assholes like Maggette or JR Smith.

Pietrus wouldn't have been a bad idea except if we had got him he would probably have to play in front of Kapono and back-up Moon. Which wouldn't be good for Kapono at all. Unless he goes to SG like he was when he was with GS. Then he'd back-up Parker and everyone would be happy. But unfortunately, he's gone and nothings happening.

I remember watching him in the regular season and thinking "God damnit Kapono, do you ever shoot?" Moon was taking more 3's than him and even at the end of the season I would groan whenever Moon shot. I was happy to finally see Kapono do all the things we paid him (handsomely) to do in the playoffs. If he does that the whole year then that will be as huge an improvement as Moon becoming a decent shooter.

I still think Bargs was a bad move for the time being. Roy was NBA in college and if we didn't make the trade for ford, we still would have had the best PG combo in the league. Aldridge could have come in and played SF prob ofr us just as well as Bargs, and he was one of Bosh's boys, who he openly said he would like to have on his team if I remember correctly.

(I know you can't sign who your star wants, but Aldriges games justified it)

That being said, I am really hoping he will prove me wrong this year though. Please don't get me wrong, I LOVE BC and what he is doing as a whole, I just don't really care for a 7 footer who stands outside of the 3 point line at the top of the key all day ffs (Unless his name was Dirk a few years ago in his prime) We have an excellent PG out there who can shoot and pass, get your butt closer to the basket so you can grab some boards, and drive to the net more (He drives best along the baseline I find). I love his game when puts it on the floor and drives, but he is far too inconsistent and big to sit out and shoot 3's all day. sure he can get hot and hit a couple once in a while, but we are the best 3 point shooting team in the league, with multiple shooters, we don't need him to do that! His size creates some mismatches at the SF position on the offensive side of the ball if he took advantage of it better instead of just trying to shoot over people. Then, if he could play SF without being too much of a liability on D, we could throw out basically 3 7 footers (well 2 and bosh) when teams go big against us, and flip/flop him with Jamario when they go smaller against us.

yea for now but the thing is Bargs had and still has more upside then both Roy and Alderidge. Sure they played good( remember Alderidge didn't have as good of a first season like Bargs did) but Bargs has the upside to become the next Nowitzki and Roy upside was what he show last year which is not better than Nowitzki. Alderidge is, as other people say, a poor man's Chris Bosh. Sure Roy and Alderidge had better sophomore seasons than Bargs but Bargs will probably have a better career then both of them
