I'm shocked at how many Bosh supporters are not please with us signing hedu for 10. Guys, this move is a bad move, but it's the ONLY way we have a shot at keeping Bosh and maintain some flexibility for the future.
IF next season we're not good enough, and Bosh leaves, hedu will still have good value in a trade. Marion at 10/yr is a bad move because next summer would be close to impossible to trade him, especially if he wants 5 years. That's ridiculous. As I said from the beginning, my first choice would have been to trade everything but andreea (and jose if we can't get rubio), and start over. My second choice would have been marion for 4 years. But if I have to choose between hedu at 5x10 and marion at 5x10, that's an easy choice for me. |

Oh I agree Bargnani is better than Lee by a little. But getting rid of banks' contract and getting Duhon a good gaurd in the process would make up that difference. Again... this was a poll. It is my opinion lol, you don't have to agree with me. But I think it would help us out. And that was a rumour I heard anyway, being interested in Lee. Hopefully BC can pull this one off and maybe even pick up Chandler in the process. |

Actually, if Turk was a free agent next year he woulda got alot more. This will seem like a bargain steal when you see what some guys get next year. Nobody had any cap room this year. Next year half the league could end up with cap room.

It's a tough one between trading Bosh now or anything else, but like somebody else said it's questionable that teams will line up to trade away much talent (potential franchise players) for him, even more so since he's going to be FA anyway, thus available, also to others.
If Raptors would go for a rebuild I think signing Hedo Turkoglu wouldn't make sense. He's in his prime, so that's signing is all about now. I think it's the right move. I'm kind of a Turkoglu fan and so I followed the rumours. I would've liked to see him play for the Blazers too and I was actually a bit disappointed when that rumour turned out to be false. Many Blazers fans were relieved about it, just like some of you because of the amount of $$$, but I think they overlook the fact that they would be better off spending now that they still can and add a valuable player than not spend at all or on a lesser player. The Raptors face the same situation and they got the biggest prize of the FA class. Hedo will make them a better team I think, and they have to improve now if they are aiming for Bosh to stay. In that respect Toronto should be considered even under more pressure than Cleveland. And I think aiming for a playoff run and for Bosh to stay is a good choice because you have to take risk to reach your ultimate goal, and Raptors think their best chance of winning is with Bosh. Reading that Hedo is the biggest FA to ever sign for Toronto reinforces that imo. If it's apparently that hard to attract star players you better try and keep the one(s) you got! |

I chose Hedo. I'm starting to like the deal. He have decent starting 5, we just need to sign and trade Marion and/or Parker so we can get the MLE to use on an impact bench player.

Team needs alot more grit in the front court.
I really dont think Bosh and Turk will play well together unless Bosh does indeed come back alot stronger this season and focuses entirely on defense. If Bosh can do that then I will be impressed with him and the teams results will be much better than if the same Bosh we all have seen over the last 3 years shows up to play. Bargs and Turk and whoever at sg can carry the majority of the offense now, Bosh just give me some KG type numbers (defense included). |

Bosh is excited to play with Turk this season he said on his Twitter, so it sounds like he'll be back next season. If we signed Marion, Bosh probably would have been gone this summer.

Where is the emphasis of defense and toughness. Again, BC has focus of offense. Right now, we have the worst defensive and rebounding starting line-up in the NBA. Why does BC use so much of the cap space on third tier stars (Rasho-8 million, JO-20 million, Hedo-10 million).
