Talk is talk Jermaine and you talk a good game. Let's see what you can do for real though.

i love this attitude, but the question is how will they adjust if things don't go well right from the start?

is swagger the most used word in the NBA? I almost never hear him in other leagues, but for some reason it pops up in any motivational talk ... I wonder who came up with that word first.

I did, I invented the word.

Why

I mean, I know you're young, but you must have seen Jermaine play when he wasnt hurt. If you did, then I have no idea why you can't see these guys playing well. ONeal used to be a guy Raps fans would be so excited about when Bosh would play to his level, because he was the #1 big guy in the East. Well, he has properly rehabbed his knee, so he can play that way again, not only that, he rebuilt his entire frame, he's probaly better than he was before, and he's just 30 years old!!!

Toronto has two Allstar bigs now, and a blossoming allstar PG, if you can't see value there, then I dunno what the fuck will make you smile.

He wanted to be in Toronto or Cleveland. And he picked Toronto.

Sam has to be giddy. Not only will JO help this team reflect Sam's personality on the court, but in the locker-room as well.

Hey I know what JO can bring to the table SJ.
I remember the force he was in Indiana, and at one point they even had the best regular season record a couple years ago, with JO anchoring the team.

However, health STILL has to be a concern no matter what. He's a smooth talker, but talk is cheap. I want to believe him about his health situation, and I kind of do, but I won't be surprised if he misses time again.

We are still missing that wing player if you ask me. We still need that guy on the wing who could create for his own. He doesn't even have to be a superstar, but I don't think we will see ANY TEAM STARTING JAMARIO MOON and ANTHONY PARKER at the 2 / 3 spots compete for a championship anytime soon.

The Raptors are definitely a better team than last year, but not that much better to be considered a team that has a real shot at the CHAMPIONSHIP, which is what JO is alluding to.

I don't think he's alluding to a championship. I think he just feels they don't need to limit themselves as all.

He's been alluding to it since the day he's got here haha.
I'm not saying that its a problem, because in fact I LIKE IT!.. It gives raps fans hope. But it kind of is unrealistic at this point. That's how I feel.

It takes A LOT to win it all. I mean look at the finalists for each respective conference last year. Does anyone think the Raptors could hang with any of them in a 7 game series? I highly doubt it at this point, let alone them even making the conference finals.

But I like the attitude though! Nothing wrong with it.
