Dumping these guys and acquiring many draft selections doesn't always work out. This isn't hockey or baseball.

not d-wade but i think chris paul could be the solution to this team and he is actually releastic option of going after unlike wade

possible trade is Bargnani + banks + pob sounds good to me and i think new orleans would take this because they found a new talent with their new point gaurd bobby brown or something he is pretty good

Take your trade idea to the proposal thread.

That offer would be laughed off by the Hornets' brass. Who really wants Banks or POB? Those guys are fodder. Bargnani is nowhere on the same level as Paul.

They have OKAFOR & David West in the frontcourt. They are right now looking for a swingman. Also, you think they are going to get rid of their franchise player & the best point guard in the league for Bargnani & one overpaid point guard who doesn't see the floor, and Loren Woods.

If you walk up to the Hornets or Miami and offer them a 30 year-old small forward & the next Memhet Okur for players just entering their prime and who play both ends of the floor, they will show you the door. It ain't gonna happen!!
dallas just gave two ~35 old players almost the same salary (kidd and marion). Nash just got a bigger contract at the same age. Ray Allen and R. Wallace is in the same position. Carter got 16 million at 33. Kobe will get 20 at 32.

30 is not old by any nba standards. Very few playes lose productivity sharply before 34-35, and all who do, rely on speed and athleticism as opposed to smarts and shooting abilities.

It's all about how well you take care of yourself. Those Pheonix doctors are something else: Hill, Shaq, McDyess, Nash, Stoudamire. All these guys have to be grateful to be in contact with these doctors.

Don't mess with numbers with an accountant. First of all, Rasheed signed for the Mid-Level this summer. So he is making 6.3 Million for a couple of years. Marion signed a contract for 7.8 million per year. Kidd signed an extension for 8.3 Million per year for only 3 years. So these players make less money than Hedo, and in the case of Kidd and Rasheed, signed for less years.

Please don't compare Kobe, Nash, and Carter with Hedo. Hedo is a good player, but he is not in the neighborhood of these players.
