Default In the offseason....

If we can't get a guy like Reggie Evans I want Paul Millsap. Guarantee you we don't get pushed around.

I totally agree CG.

The nice thing about Kapono stepping it up right now too, is that he also makes himself valuable this summer incase Colangelo wants to move him too. So, with Ford and Kapono' stock right now rising, we have some nice assets to possible get us some key pieces this summer.

i dont think we're going to get all that much for ford. with his contract and his injury situation, he's a risk most gm's wont bite on. but BC has the force

Ford's stock is taking a beating with every playoff game he plays - he can't hit a shot again and is not running the team at all.

Kapono - yes, but wouldn't you rather wait for a coach who can use such an incredible weapon properly?

yeah ford out would be nice.

I just want rebounding and interior toughness. Reggie Evans, Ron Artest, whoever! It's the main reason why we get beat as often as we do. Interior defensive (and offensive) toughness.

I'm sure he was banking on Andrea being able to improve his rebounding with his move to centre, but alas that hasn't amounted to much.

It's clear as day that this is a glaring weakness. I'm sure BC knows this and i'm sure he will make it a priority.

He should have made it one last season.

Jason Maxiel is another one of those guys.

I doubt you could pry him away from Detriot though.

I'd deal Ford to Dallas for Terry, but that's just me. I wasn't banking on Ford getting us a star in return, but looking at Dallas right now the ship has pretty much sunk and Cuban will likely blow things up tenfold. Kidd turned out to be a huge disappointment and isn't getting any younger. Mavs will need a new PG sooner rather than later. Enter, T.J. Ford.

I would LOVE to have Battier here. That would solve our problem defending SF/SG, the problem he is not that good of a scorer. I bet he could score 15 a game but thats not enough for us.

I wouldn't do the Terry deal Doc just cause he makes a boatload of money and his numbers are in the declining stages.

I really like Maxiell, but once MyDyess and Wallace leave/retire, Maxiell will fill that void.

The deal I like is Ford for Nocioni. The Bulls have been clamouring that they need a PG and want to go in a different direction than Hinrich...and right now, they HATE Nocioni there.

I don't know if any trade like this would work but I think getting David Lee, Renaldo Balkman and filler for TJ would fill out our roster nicely. With a new GM, he might want to change a lot of things starting with Marbury as the starting PG.

I like Terry, but I don't think we need any more defensive liabilities on this team
