Pretty good. When Jared Sullinger, Perry Jones, Harrison Barnes, and Terrence Jones all went back to college it sets up for the 2012 draft to be pretty deep if those guys declare and the new freshman are as good as they're hype up to be.

We better be getting someone with NBA experience, seriously. One experienced HC in 16yrs is a joke. And it better not be PJ Carlisimo.

Excellent news. Should have happened a year ago but this is still not too late.
Next: Trade Bargnani (it's long overdue) and it will seem clear BC is back on track.

THIS is what I'm really waiting for....

I have to confess I'm a little shocked since by all account Triano was "BC's guy".... I guess that we're really doing a true rebuild now.

This only makes sense to me if we're getting Adelman, Frank or someone of equal ilk though.

Things are getting pretty interesting in Raptorland.

Kudos to 'cuda for breaking the story!

Just texted a source close to Colangelo and D'Antoni about a possible Phoenix reunion, and reply came an emphatic, "No." Stay tuned.

Hahhhhhh, D. Smith thinks this was a mistake. I assume he'd say the same if Jose was dealt. What a tool.

D'Antoni would be a disaster here.

Anyway, I think Colangelo is actually getting serious now. He could have kept Triano and nobody would have complained much. I have a feeling he's looking to make a move, a decisive one. I think young franchises are seeing that you don't have to hire off the coaching carousel anymore and that fantastic assistant coaches usually make great head coaches.

I would love to see Dwane Casey here.

Several league execs believe Colangelo will have to go 'opposite' in next coaching hire, with focus on defense. Lawrence Frank makes sense.
If this is the case, I'd rather have Jeff Van Gundy.

Jeff Van Gundy is a fucking moron and a terrible coach. Listening to him on ESPN makes me want to commit suicide and/or protest until TNT gets the Finals.

WOOOOOOO!!

This is great news, i was scepitcal about having BC back as GM because i thought that would basically mean Jay would stay on as HC.. but this is fantastic news.

now he just needs to trade AB or acquire a Center and demote Bargnani to 6th man

I don't see us grabbing a flyer on an assistant coach form another team unless we have no other options.

Why not?

He has said in the past that he'd eventually like to return to coaching.

"If they (Raptors) ever decide, that they want to defend, then they can win and win big."

Maybe JVG will go out of his way to help make this happen?

Even though the quote is from 2009 lol

I also read he would only coach if he can be close to his kids. Think i read that here?
