Again, what would be the point of having 2 starting caliber PGs? I'd keep Bayless. draft Lamb possibly to give DD a challenge.

You're contradicting yourself.

jose + Ed + '12 1st rnd pick for

paul george

pacers can put hill back on the bench and get a more reliable PG as starter. Then see what they can get for collison.

I'd give them JJ and our 2 2nd rounders as well. Indy loves George to death and I don't blame them.

We should target OJ Mayo... dude looked amazing last night. Our first rounder and toss in GForbes so they have a cheap and useless bench option.

Why wouldn't they just keep George and trade Hill or Collison for a pick?

coz jose will run the point better than hill and he can go back to his best role, scoring off the bench with LB. They could still try trading collison for a pick then. Our #8 (which they couldn't get for collison or hill) plus a later pick would be nice for them. And they get Ed.

i can see it's not likely indiana will give up geroge but i think that's quite a nice package, just about worth mentioning!

jose + Bargs + '12 1st rnd pick for

george and west

not even sure indiana would value Bargs over west coz west has been good for them. But Bargs is younger and inidana are more set at the moment to hide bargs' deficiencies.

west could be a nice(ish) vet presence for us.

George is more untouchable then Batum..... They're not breaking up a playoff team to take on more salary and while they could use Jose, they'd move Granger before they ever moved George.

yeah, you're right. The not breaking up a good team is the main reason, why change their team?

still think it's a pretty fair trade with some logic to it tho.

The question becomes, is Granger a guy we'd consider? He'd be much more attainable.

i've never liked him. strikes me as a punk. seen him have a lot of bad games for a "star" player. But he is pretty good. showed what he can do against orlando yesterday.

i wouldn't do the one involving Bargs for him tho.

Bargs isn't going anywhere.... he's being paired with JV. I'm talking about adding to this team.... I agree on Granger, I'd rather have Batum, Iggy, Mayo and Tyreke.

at minimum our pick.... but I'd rather use it to get one of the others if possible. Probably add in Ed Davis or Amir plus something, and Granger at 13 and 14M the next two years isn't atrocious...

You can't trade someone who isn't on your roster. S+T maybe?
