If we take Brand and give them Turk and someone of value? Or Brand, Dalembert and 2nd for Turk, DeMar, and Reggie.

Here is mine.....

Detroit receives:

Elton Brand
Hedo Turkoglu
Sunny Weems

Philedelphia Sixers receive:

Jose Calderon
Richard Hamilton
Marco Bellenelli

Toronto Raptors receive:

Tayshaun Prince
Andre Iguodala

Helps all the teams, pretty much everyone needs changes...
That's a horrible trade for both Detroit and Philadelphia. Detroit gets saddled with 2 worse contracts than the two they sent out.

The reason why Philadelphia would trade Iguodala is to get financial relief, yet they take back Hamilton? I understand getting rid of Brand, but it's not that good of a trade for the Sixers.

I think I read somewhere that the Warriors are NOT open to trading Ellis. I was ESPN I believe. If I can get it, I'll post it.

Default Hedo Turkoglu for Boris Diaw!!!

Inside the NBA: Would you do Turkoglu for Diaw?

Can we do it right now...just get rid of Turkoglu, raptors get big man, plus boris diaw only has one year left...perfect,he will play out of his mind(contract year)....ohh yeah Raptors would be 9 million under the cap.

We could do worse than an expiring Boris Diaw coming off the bench.

Clippers trades:
Baron and the #8

Gets:
Hedo and Jack

Why?
Clippers solidify 2 positions and drop about a million dollars in payroll. They still have enough capspace to go after a max guy this offseason to totally coplete hte team.

Jack
Gordon
Hedo
Griffin
Kaman

Why?
Toronto adds a guy who is a buddy of Bosh(if they want to keep him) but most importantly isnt afraid to PUSH the ball. Team still has expirings to deal as well as 2 first round picks and possible Jose/Bosh deals to add some solid pieces.

But in meantime leaves a potential lineup of

Baron/Jose/Banks
Demar/Beli
Aminu/Weems
Bosh/Evans
Bargs/Whiteside

I can't see why the Clips trade the #8 pick.

That would never happen! Philly would be taking on 70-80Mil in salary there over thext 4yrs! Not what they want to do imo, especially if they also have to give up a #2 pick in the process.

Because Jack and Hedo is worth more than Baron alone.

Default Turk for Diaw?

Charlotte Observer writer contemplates whether or not it would be good for them to take on Turk. The comments from the readers though aren't welcoming. Salaries match, but Diaw has 2 yrs and Turk has 4. I'd do it.

There's way more value in baron davis and the number 8 pick than hedo and jack. A more realistic deal would be davis and filler for hedo and an expiring like evans or banks

They would want a PG to replace Davis.
Currently JJ stock is as high as it will ever get something like Jose in his contract year.
They might believe that he is a starter.

Clippers trade:
Griffin, Davis, #8

gets:
Bosh and Jose

CLippers get a true pg and a freind of Bosh who should pair decently with Kaman. Gordon provides some slashing and shooting and team maintains capspace to go after a free agent sf(Gay?)

Jose
Gordon
FA/Outlaw
Bosh
Kaman

Washington trades:
Arenas

gets:
Hedo and Banks

Washington moves Arenas, who needs a change of senery and starts over anew. Maintains all capspace to use on free agents

Wall
Young
HEdo
Blatche
McGee

PHilly trades:
Iggy, Brand

gets:
Arenas, Evans, #8

Philly sheds salary, and alot of it. Keeps the #2 to draft Turner who should compliment Arenas who will bring alot of firepower to the team. Teams stays competetive yet young.

Arenas
Turner
Aminu
Young
Daly

Toronto trades:
Bosh, Jose, Hedo, Banks, Evans

gets:
Griffin, Iggy, Brand, Davis

Toronto adds alot of salary but adds defense, Athletecism and some youth.

Davis/Jack/FA
Demar/Beli
Iggy/Weems
Griffin/Amir
Bargs/Brand

MLE on depth and use the #13 on a winger(Henry, George or Damien James)

Default Turk for Diaw?

Quote:
Based on what my buddy in Toronto, Doug Smith, is writing Smith: If Turk wants out, it?s time to say goodbye - thestar.com it sounds like Hedo Turkoglu and the Raptors might be headed for a quickie divorce.

Makes me wonder: Would Turkoglu-for-Boris Diaw be a good swap for the Raptors and Bobcats?
Rest of the article here:
Inside the NBA: Would you do Turkoglu for Diaw?

What do you guys think?

Bocats aren't gonna trade for a 30 year old washed up vet signed for another 5 years @ more than 10 mil a season. Diaw doesn't have as bad a contract as turkoglu.
