Really? He's been playing his best ball of the season the last 2-3 weeks. He's showing energy and seems to be competing better. I've been dispointed in his overall play this season but i still think he can be a pretty good player in the NBA.

He's only 22, has yet to have a full training camp, didn't have summer league last summer which could help and people also need to realize that he's barely played a full season's worth of games so far in his career after missing the first 6 weeks last season and this, a shortened season. The guy seriously needs to add weight this summer or he'll continue to struggle imo.

Not to take your words out of context, but overall in the season is what I meant by recently, I guess I should have worded it differently.

1.
Toronto gets Batum + 1st Dallas 2012 + tpe LAL (5M)
Portland gets Calderon
LAL gets Felton

Portland need to change things at pg.
LAL get a pg to run the show.
WE get some tpe, a nice young SF and a late pick.

2.
Toronto gets Parker + dragic
Houston gets Bargnanii + anderson
SAS gets Martin + Hill + bayless + 1st dallas 2012

Houston wants a scorer pf, what they get for cheaper than gasol.
SAS get a scoring machine with marin ar sg, a backup pg with bayless + a big men (Hill) and a late 1st.
we get a legit starting pg and a backup one

we waive buttler, Carter and alabi

our roster:
Parker/Dragic/2nd rd 2012
DD/barbosa/forbes
Batum/JJ/kleiza
Amir/ED/1st toronto 2012
"JV"/Gray/Magz

Is somewhat more realistic, but I think that Portland would still want more than Calderon for Batum, and I don't think that Felton is a big upgrade over Blake for LAL.

Plus, I'm not sure if the TPE can be moved around like that.

Raptors

To Toronto: Ed Davis & Jose Calderon

To Sacramento: For Sacramento 1st & Unwanted Salary player

I've been really intrigued by this years draft class. escpecially guys like Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Anthony Davis, Jared Sullenger, etc. I havn't been impressed by Ed Davis so far in his tenure with the Raps hasnt shown any major development add to that the fact that hes getting outplayed by James Johnson i dont really see him as a future top player for the Raps. Also when Valanciunas comes over next year dont you think Bargnani will move to the PF position making Davis expendable?

I have heard rumors though that MKG and Austin Rivers will not be entering the draft this year. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist: 'I'm staying at Kentucky'

I see no reason for the Kings to want to do that, they lose their pick in another bad year for them and get Jose and Ed. Like you said Ed has had a bad year, so what makes them want him? They already have a PG, no need for Jose either.

Plus those few players you mentioned that you liked in the draft. They'll all be gone before we get to pick them lol. And one final thing! Bargs already moved to PF this year, so that happened already.

trade machine
Toronto get felton + batum + babbit
Portland get Calderon + kleiza.

portland really need improvment at pg and kleiza's contract will less than the next of Batum.

we waive babbit. we get our SF starter. with felton we have an expiring who can be here to fill tohehole at pg + bayless.
so we keep our flexibility even with batum new contract

felton/bayless
DD/barbosa
Batum/JJ
Bargs/ED/Amir
JV/Gray/magz

i think even 2nd half of the season can be better than the first.
next season with JV + a lottery rookie and a second rd. that can be an interresting team to watch, especially with a full training camp.

the same with some alteration :

Toronto get nash + batum + childress
Portland get calderon + Kleiza
Phoenix get felton + ed + 1st Toronto 2012 (unprotected)

Portland really need improvment at pg and kleiza's contract will less than the next of Batum.

Phoenix get a high pick this draft to rebuild and a nice young PF + an expiring pg. they can rebuild properly without nash. and i'm sure Hill would prefer retire without Nash.
without childress big contract and -hill -nash , that open max capspace for them with probably one high pick and a end lottery one.
they can even do a felton for tpe + 1st dallas pick + 1st LAL pick.at end of the deadline. waht will increase a quick rebuild process with 4 rookie in that draft class + morris + gortat.

we get a massiv teacher/make better our young core (give them confidence) and batum at the 3 would increase our stock.

nash/bayless/2nd rd 2011
DD/barbosa/forbes
Batum/JJ/childress
Bargs/Amir/???
JV/Gray/magz

Not so bad for the next 2 seasons.
maybe bayless can learn with nash to pass more.

this summer will have 17M (-2nd rd rookie contract) in capspace, i think we can manage to resign nash for 9M, batum for 8M, barbosa for 5M + bayless for 4M. we will be 9M over the cap (+/- vet contracts), and have a MLE to use to acquire some second tier player who can help this team (especially at pf/C like mahimmi) or bring back dorsey.
but after that next season we have also to extend DD(8M) and JJ(6M)that would put us in luxury tax for 2013-2014 just one season. after that nash contract end. i hope we find a solid young pg at this time (next draft, maybe 2013). LOL.

I wish we could do a poll about who would be willing to do a Jose + '12 first round pick for Rondo....

I'd do it if it were top 6 protected.

You can't do a protected pick in that scenario... Boston needs an infusion of youth if they did that deal and likely wouldn't and couldn't afford to have the pick delayed a year if it was indeed protected. If you think it's too much as an unprotected, I'd suggest an alternative Boston sweetener could be found.

I love Rondo, great defensively, excellent passer, isn't the best shooter though. But the biggest problem with Rondo coming here would be if he could adopt from playing with 3 future hall of famers to playing with Bargs, a "potential 20 ppg guy" in DD, JonasV (who people shouldn't will be at least a 3rd option on offense) and maybe our draft pick???

I've said it many times, it makes sense for both teams.

ED Davis + Caldy + 2012 unprotected 1st

for

Rajon Rondo

c's get their pf of future and a chance to learn behind one of the greatest pf's of all time. Caldy needs to go because they dont have anyone at point beside bradley, who is not ready. and the 2012 unprotected 1st allows them to start rebuilding process with a soild prospect.

we like it for obvious reason.

next year, we resign bayless, gray and AC:

Rondo/Bayless/AC
Demar/Bayless/forbes
Chandler/JJ/kleiza
Andrea/Amir/Kleiza
Gray/JV/Amir

love it!
