I'm not even huge on the guy, but I think he's a good player, I wouldn't say no to having him here.

Wroten is a very good defender imo, okafor manning the middle and JJ gives 3 defenders in the starting lineup.

And id hardly say that gordon is an injury risk player.
Where's all the scoring going to come from then? Gordon and Bargs? Not huge on that.

On another note, Mo Williams in an interview started talking about LAC and that they should give him a contract extension, this was before last night's game (where he didn't have the best night). Nonetheless, I think BC should call LAC and see what's up. Mo Williams has some pride and is a decent PG. I think we could basically trade backcourts. I've done some things on trade machine.

Mo Williams straight up for Jose. Jose would have to come off the bench but at least LAC would have possibly the world's best PG with possibly the league's best backup PG in Jose (remember the ford/jose days in 06-07 and to a lesser degree 07-08). Granted, LAC might be deterred by Jose's salary next season. However they would greatly consider it if we expanded on this trade with more trades to make it work as a mega trade can't be done.

Foye, Bledsoe, and Billups (who is out for the rest of the season) for Barbosa, Bayless. This move frees up a roster spot for LAC to sign JR Smith.

Why would we do these things: Getting rid of Jose's salary for next season. Mo has a player option for next year and he could be resigned or just let go. Raps get a prospect who has barely been used this season in Bledsoe.

The deal would have to be done on march 1st due to billups deal with LAC. Raps would have to waive someone on the roster to make it happen. I'm assuming either Alabi (considering he gets no PT whatsoever), R.Butler (does what he is told but is a shooter who can't shoot) or A.Carter (considered as 2PGs would be coming back but would be a nice mentor for Bledsoe).

your looking at 20 from gordon, 20 from bargs, 10 from okafor, 13 from kleiza, 6 from amir, 10 from bayless, say 10 from wroten(easy), 6 from JV, 6 from JJ.

thats 91 ppg there, plus whatever is signed with the 10 million in capspace, say chandler....there is another 13 ppg. now over 100.

and i know that you can't figure ppg like that, but it gives you a good idea.

would be alot like a philly or indiana in that teams would know who s gonna hurt them, IF trade happened and team signed chandler you are looking at 4 guys capable of 20+ on you, with others that could have a big game.

1. before trade deadline :
chicago gets barbosa
portland gets CJ watson
toronto gets batum + brewer

Chicago get a real sg backup
portland need a backup pg, even a starter for next season. Fekton don't do great with them.

2. this summer :
SAS gets curry + biedrins.
Toronto gets Parker
GSW gets Calderon + ed davis + 1st tor 2013

SAS gets one of the best young pg and begin to rebuild for the after big three era. biedrins give them some presence in frontcourt. POP will know how to handle him, and play with his strengh.

GSW gets a first in 2013, and ed davis with lee make more sense in backcourt than what they have.
calderon to run the show, will do great pair with one of the fastest sg on the game. and caldy will be an expiring at the end of next season.

we get one of the best PG in the game, who will lead this team, and make them run. he is only 30, and he will play 3 solid years with us, and maybe teach our futur pg.

Parker/bayless/2nd round 2012
DD/brewer/forbes
Batum/Kleiza
Bargs/JJ/1st 2012
Amir/Gray/Magz/"JV"

We let? GM's were not falling all over each other to sign him or anything. It's amazing the fawning that's going on. Hell, the NYK have needed a PG all season and didn't go out to sign him until now.

we'll be the 5th worst team and end up picking 6th imo. god forbid we move up in a deep draft.

So very good chance that Lamb will still be there for us to pick? I really think he can be very good NBA player. I have faith that BC will get pick that is best for us

I'm kind of hoping for fourth. It would be a good spot as Davis, Drummond, Barnes and MKG are looking like the top 4 players in this draft. Having the one who doesn't get selected of those 4 wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. And why does this have to be the draft loaded with bigs (mostly PFs)?

I would love to trade Barbosa for a pick, I think it would benefit us in the future. As you all say this draft is loaded so why not take a chance and get some young guns instead of keeping old farts.

BC wants to keep Barby, hes a spark of the bench. If we had a decent starting line up he would be amazing for us.

Yeah, i think he'd be ok for us next season at a decent price if BC can upgrade the starting lineup, especially at the 3/1 spots.

I really don't like him, he always dribbles with his head down. I agree that he can be dangerous in offense, but he could be sooo much more effective if he would pass the ball. He draws difference to himself and still settles for low percentage contested shots instead of passing to wide open teammate.

when barbosas on his game, no one can stop him. And if I was as fast as him, I would be selfish too
