I agree because there aren't any shittier players out there than our backup Cs and DeRozan has just been horrid.

I just don't like Ellis's game and Biedrins is a shell of his former self.

Why not? With DeRozan and Davis going out I'm sure we could get it done, General Manager Jeffb

You don't like Ellis?

Who the fuck cares if you like him? He's a tremendous player and we would be lucky to have him.

Its funny how picky Raptors fans are, like look at our roster.

Default Trade with the warriors?

I'm watching the OKC @ Warriors game tonight & it got me thinking...

They only use 1 big man David Lee? & this is clearly Ellis's team.

There has got to be a way we can send the Warriors our pick & Ed Davis or Amir for Stephen Curry

We should trade:

Davis or Amir, Bayless & our 1st pick

4

Stephen Curry

Get er done BC!!!!

what the hell? am I not entitled to an opinion on NBA players?

It's a whole different thing if the Raps were to actually get Ellis. what I responded to was just jeff's proposal. This isn't anything remotely close to ever happening anyway if you didn't know.

wake up.

I like Ellis more than I did a couple of years ago.

However, there is some risk involved for any team that trades for him. Ellis has a player option for the 2013-2014 season. He can opt out of his contract. So, even if a team manages to convince GS to trade him, they might lose Ellis at the end of next season. He only makes $11 million per. When his contract started, that seemed like a bigger deal. But now, that's an efficient deal. In the NBA, there will usually be someone who is willing to overpay. Ellis and his agent would likely test the market in 2013. Maybe his new team could prevent that by offering a huge $15+ mill deal. Tough to say for sure. The point is, he ain't locked-up for long.

I just don't understand how you could possibly dislike the idea of us acquiring such an amazing player. We haven't had that type of star power since you know who.

He's overrated. He's chucking up 19 shots a game for 21 points, averaging 4 turnovers a game, and shoots 42% from the field. Not to mention he can't play defense, he's undersized, and he's playing on the WARRIORS.
Is he really a star?

I won't question that he's talented, but I don't like his game at all. I am entitled to that opinion.
His stats are inflated as well.

You make some good points. These have been concerns in the past. At least he distributes the ball a bit better than he used to. but, yeah, his socring is still pretty inefficient.

Add to that what I said above: he might cost $15+ mill per, starting in 2013.

Unless we get Anthony Davis/Drummond, I'd do that deal without a second thought.

Biedriens being a 7 footer does not have a post game, is not existent on defence and was nicknamed the wall. His averaging career lows across the board. A crappy overpaid player.

Monte is a break down guard but takes a lot of shots and is a good point on a loosing team. Both players are burdens on defence.

If you trade for these guys, might as well trade for Kwame, Milicic or Araujo.

1.
kleiza for batum + fillers

Portland will want a player who can replace batum, and has the ability to score and defend.
and he give them some more flexibility on money contract than batum will.

2.
barg + bayless
for
rando + willcox.

Boston search for a big men for their futur. Bayless will give them a solid pg defender, who will be happy to start for the celtics.

We get our pg of the futur. willcox give us only the chip to trade and is an expiring.
we don't give a pick or maybe a 2nd.

rando/caldy/2nd 2012
DD/barbosa/forbes
Batum/JJ
ED/Amir/1st 2012
"JV"/Gray/Magz
