This. We can net so much more than Brandon Jennings... assuming we get a somewhat high pick.

2. before the trade deadline too:
LAL gets caldy
Toronto gets Blake + Beaubois + 1st LAL 2012 (unprotected 2012) + tpe
Dallas gets 1st dallas 2012 + Barnes
I say we just use The Lakers' pick to draft Kabongo, Marshall, etc. And I don't think the lakers would give up Barnes, Blake, two 1st rounders and tpe for Jose.

SIMPLE:

1) Barbosa for LAL TPE and LAL first rounder and/or Dallas first rounder.

2) Use that LAL and/or Dallas first rounder (if need be) to get W.Chandler, or just sign him outright to a big deal that Denver definitely won't match.

3) Trade our 2012 draft pick (unprotected) for James Harden (the black Manu or bearded Paul Pierce).

4) Trade Jose, DD, ED, Bayless (and our 2013 draft pick if need be, and/or protected to some degree) for Rajon Rondo. RE: If you don't have the star power to trade for Rondo you have to deal them depth, which the raps certainly do in this deal.

Rajon, Harden, W.Chandler, Bargs, JonasV = winning

Harden and Bargs are the 2 primary scorers. Rondo would like playing with players his own age aka young legs. W.Chandler needs to defend, rebound, and shoot 3 at a decent rate. JonasV just needs to concentrate on D, rebounding and being efficient.

Off the bench still under contract: LKZ, James Johnson, Amir. Obviously the bench would need to be addressed. Get J.Dorsey on the cheap in FA as when he gets mins he produces and as a 4th or 5th big isn't too bad.

Guys wanting to win a championship would greatly consider this balanced squad with one of the best distributors in the game, possibly the best young SG in the league, one of the best big man matchups in the league, a great coach with defensive emphasis, and Toronto would then become a diverse, fun, great city as opposed to basketball siberia or whatever nicknames Toronto has accumulated over the years.

Also, which backcourt in the nba could rival Rondo/Harden?

If you read the other trades in my post you know why I would write what I wrote. And unless we are getting a top 5 pick and drafting Drummond, Davis, MKG or Barnes, those other players are not on the level that Harden is on. Harden is overshadowed by KD and RW and isn't starting to help out the bench like how Manu played in SAS.

At least I am not considering trading for Jennings. So many raps fans on countless boards always say we need that killer PG who can dish assists and score. Jennings can't dish. Jose is one of the best apg players in the league annually and has to work with players who pale in comparison talent wise compared to who the other top apg guys in the league have on their teams. We might as well just start Bayless instead of trading something of value for Jennings (aka the most overrated player in the NBA).

have ou see the stat of jennings ?
he has right now in his 3rd year in the NBA the same age as jose had when he came in the nba.
so i will give jennings some times to put more assist.
and you say that jose doesn't have the talent to pas the ball. how about jennings. BJ is in a system, where the two last year, MIL was in the bottom of the league in team scoring.
he is one of the top in steal and in 3pts. when you are a threat like him, assist isn't as much needed because he open the floor so much for other.
i really want to see him dish to DD or even Bargs, and we will see his assist ratio go up.
for me he has a better vision of the oppponant D.
so no he is not overrated.

Let's see, PGs who are better than Jennings: CP3, Rose, Rondo, Westbrook, T. Parker, DWILL, S.Curry, Nash. Arguably better than Jennings: Rubio (already a far better distributor), Irving, Wall, Lawson, J.Holiday, Lowry, Billups, Kidd. That is without even mentioning guys like: Jose, Felton, A. Miller, Mo Willams, M.Conley.

The guys in the top 8 all run their team better than BJ. Rubio, Wall, Lawson, Jrue, Jose, Miller, Lowry, Kidd and chauncey all are much better at running a team. Kyrie is already at or above Jennings' level. He is efficient scoring wise.

Yes, dude has offensive abilities, but his career high FG % is 43. Also, if don't give this excuse of "look who he's playing with", imagine him with DD and Bargs. you can blame the system he's in but honestly, dude just isn't a natural old-school PG. He doesn't have the vision that the guys listed above have. I know that scoring is important but he hasn't even made it to 6 apg.
Hell, even JB as a starter last year in 14 games averaged 18.1 ppg and 6.7 apg. And BJ has been hyped up by things like Dime Magazine.

To Clippers:
Derozan

To Memphis:
Randy Foye
Clippers 2nd rounder
Raptors 2nd rounder

To Toronto:

O.J. Mayo

Memphis probably hangs up the phone.

Lets say that Kleiza fully recovers from his injury and becomes a consistent 17ppg scorer (of the bench) my question is do we keep him or you think we should trade him?

he brings so much energy to this team, which is important so that we don't go through such brutal energy droughts.... many hate him, but he is great for this shitty team.
