& your point about Oden, who cares if he walks or asks for to much then we pass on him & just keep building through the draft

Davis is better than anything that Portland will get in the draft at 27 & they are not going to resign Batum when they have Wallace...
Batum is much better than Davis at this point and Barbosa wouldn't play much behind Mathews and Crawford. Makes little sense to give up the better player and a pick when Davis isn't much bigger than Batum anyways.

They don't need depth, they're a good team already.

1. Before the 25th january.
jose + davis + 2nd round 2012
for batum + felton

we don't lose any picks, and we will have a starter SF. Kleiza and JJ as backup would be great.
until the end of the season, either kleiza or JJ can play PF backup.

2. in the days to come
barbosa
for
1st SAS 2012 + joseph + Bonner

felton/joseph/bayless
DD/forbes
Batum/kleiza/JJ
Bargs/Bonner/JJ/kleiza
Amir/magloire/Gray/"JV"

why would the blazers downgrade two position players to get a second round pick? They're trying to win now.

These trades are pathetic, sorry. Why would Portland want Ed Davis who plays the same position as their best player? Makes 0 sense. They have Aldridge, Camby, Kurt Thomas, and Craig Smith. That's a solid 4 big-man rotation. Them trading Batum (who is better than Ed right now) for Ed Davis hurts them at the wing position more than it helps in the frontcourt. He's their best wing defender after Wallace and can even play stretch 4 at times. And them trading Oden on top of that? Get real.

Barbosa, James Johnson and 2013 second round for Batum

Ed davis, bayless and 2014 second round for mayo and 2012 first round pick

Would those work?

That's even worse than Batum for Ed Davis (for POR).

This deal is okay. Memphis probably wants a proven big though.

instead of a pick, if it can be barbosa or bayless, it would be perfect

Guys must make a choice, or we exchange DD & Ed Davis or Bargs& Ed Davis for a big player who be placed near Calderon and amir and those who remain from the exchange up here, because this team sucks!!!
even if next year comes val, with this starter line:
Calderon
DD
This year Draft pick
Bargs
Val
not going anywhere

Trade1
Toronto Raptors: Davis, Barbosa & Butler

4

LA Clippers: Eric Bledsoe, Mo Williams & Solomon Jones

Trade2
Toronto Raptors: Bayless & Kleiza

4

Minnesota: Beasley

New Roster:
PG: Jose/Bledsoe
SG: DeRozan/Mo/Forbes
SF: Beasley/JJ
PF: AB/Amir/Solomon Jones
C: JV/Mags/Alabi

Then we pick the best player available in the draft.

I Know many here don't like Beasley including possibly our GM but he is a hug upgrade at the SF position.

LAC wasn't willing to include Bledsoe in the Paul trade, so why would they include them in this deal? Davis doesn't have much value for the Clippers with Griffin and Jordan already on the roster, and Butler has no value whatsoever.

On the Minny trade, why would the T-Wolves acquire another PG, even a scoring PG like Bayless? Ridnour is doing that job well, and the T-Wolves seem committed to giving Rubio major minutes.

Dallas gets barbosa + bayless + alabi + 2*2nd round 2012/2013.
Toronto gets marion + beaubois + mahimmi

Dallas need to shed money, and we give them some expiring contracts.

we get some interrsting pieces.
marion as our SF would be a solid and can fill out the void.
beaubois and mahimmi are young player, and all know casey's system on D.

and beaubis seems to have more pside than bayless right now. mahimmi as our futur backup center is solid.

jose/beaubois/carter
DD/forbes
marion/JJ/Buttler
Bargs/ed/kleiza
amir/Mahimmi/magloire/"JV"

Well What if it was Jose for Beasley straight up?

& Bledsoe isn't getting time because of injuries & because he plays behind Paul.
