i don't think we can get georges.
like no gm think we will give DD.
But i think we can get batum.

1
Washington gets Bayless + C. Johnson + 2nd RD POR
Toronto gets Batum + Mack
Portland gets Davis + Booker

Portland gets immediate package and value for backup frontcourt.

Batum seems tobe our first SF choicewith trade, and Mack is a rookie who comes from a defensiv university, with great BBIQ, and who hoes rwo times in the final four with butler.

2.
Jose + kleiza + 2nd round 2012
for
Jennings + Udrih

Jennings/Udrih/Mack/Cartter
DD/Barbo/Forbes
Batum/Buttler/JJ
Bargs/Amir/JJ
Magloire/Gray/Alabi/"Jv"

derozan and davis for james harden

thunder get depth than can put them over the edge, Raptors get a future allstar,

if i could look into a crystal ball and see the Raptors drafted harrison barnes then i would prefer not to make this trade,

but the Raptors need a lights out 2 or 3 man who can shoot the rock

That's an interesting proposal for both teams, although I think the Thunder would prefer to keep Harden due to his versatility.

But building on your idea, maybe the deal could be expanded to be DeRozan, Davis, and Barbosa for Harden, cap filler, and OKC's first-round pick. OKC would get a starter in DeRozan and a much-needed offensive spark off the bench with Barbosa.

Barbosa, Ed davis, and butler for batum and their first round pick. I dont know if that makes sense, but the blazers said they are not going to commit to both wallace and batum, and batum wants more playing time, something that he would get here

if they're not going to commit to an extension, can't we just sign him?

Minnesota gets Barbosa (7.60M)
Toronto gets Batum (2.15M) + Ridnour (3.68M) + 1st portland 2012
Portland gets beastley (5.25M).

Portland gain in power with Beastley
Minnesota gets a sg scorer, exactly what they need/lack
Toronto grab a real SF defender, who need more play time and want more. Ridnour isn't the best but he can play 1or2. we waive alabi.
and resign batum for 30M/4yrs

jose/Bayless/Carter
DD/ridnour/Forbes
Batum/JJ/Buttler
Bargs/Davis/Kleiza
Amir/Magloire/Gray

+jonas + our 1st + por 1st + ou 2nd.
so 4 rookie to come next year.
gray+buttler + forbes + Carter won't be here next season. maybe bayless too. so draft a pg with the lottery pick, and some wing player with the other and we will be fine.
all would have to fight for minutewith casey, so they will progress quickly.

next season :
jose/"1st tor"/ridnour
DD/JJ/"weems"
Batum/kleiza/ "2nd rd tor"
Bargs/davis/"1st por"
JV/amir/magloire

Cause they likely value Batum more than they do Davis and they're still hopeful with GO too.... They're deep at SG, so why overpay for Barbosa. I doubt they throw in the pick and now that I think of it, I doubt Toronto takes that deal either.... Oden will be a FA and has no reason to sign here, and will likely be asking for too much money while being very unlikely to ever play more than 40 games per season..... and I highballed with 40.

I'm not sure about that. Big men that play defense & rebound are slim pickings on Portland's roster...Besides Aldridge who do they have an aging Camby & Kurt Thomas?

They need a young big who can play right away Davis is that & in a SAT with Barbosa he will not be over payed not now...I say 4-5 million is what he would get.

& your point about Oden, who cares if he walks or asks for to much then we pass on him & just keep building through the draft

Davis is better than anything that Portland will get in the draft at 27 & they are not going to resign Batum when they have Wallace...
