Default Trade Ideas

Just trying to get an idea on how everyone values these players....

Who agrees to these trades?
LAL or PHX or both?
(1) Pau Gasol for: Steve Nash, Channing Frye
(2)_____________Steve Nash, Channing Frye, Robin Lopez
(3)_____________Steve Nash, Marcin Gortat
MIA or PHX or both?
(4) Chris Bosh and Eddie House for: Steve Nash, Channing Frye
(5) ___________________________Steve Nash, Channing Frye, Robin Lopez
(6) ___________________________Steve Nash, Marcin Gortat

they all work salary-wise.

Phoenix wouldn't trade Nash and Gortat for Bosh..... and not even for Pau. Bosh might fetch Nash and Frye, but not Lopez.

yep, remember you saying that one a while back. It's a good trade. As much as i like Ed, batum would be very good for us. So do you then see us drafting a PG i take it?

or if we get a really high pick, we could draft a PF that is better than Bargs and trade Bargs for something, either a PG or a mid round 1st + second rounder maybe? grab either kobongo or teague?

yep, lots of options.

kabongo looks exciting. need to see what happens with bayless.

So happy the season is happening! Raps may not have a good season but they're a very interesting team to follow. Young players with potential, new coach, cap space, there will be a lot of changes in the next 2 years.

I'd still think we take best player.... given that we'd be more balanced and able to freely choose without worrying about logjams.

Even though we do have so many PF's if we draft a better PF, the others could still be a great asset for trade pieces

having to trade and wanting to trade are two different bargaining positions.... it's not like trades in the NBA happen every day.

I think trading ed is a terrible idea. I think he maybe are greatest asset going forward into the future. He isn't going to be a hall of famer but he does have the potential to be championship caliber filler. I think his defensive instinct is really going to thrive under Casey. His confidence finishing in the paint is going to improve. He is basically the type of player we are tanking for to pick up in the draft.

I think you keep Klieza as while, even if the the only reason is to ease the transition of Val in to the roster next season.

I am hoping that Jose gets axed in the amnesty.

I think our only Trade bait is Barbosa, but I think he is here till closer to the trade dead line.

FA is going to be the big issue. Whether we actually pay for assets or look for bandaids. And what kind of veteran leadership is chosen for this team.
