That's quite a wet dream.

TPE + #18 for a star in Jefferson and a possible emerging star in Rubio? Kahn would have to be drunk in order for taht deal to happen.

I couldn't see Washington giving up the #5 pick for Beasley. That's wishful thinking at it's finest.

What kind of day would it be without a Snooch trade:

LAC trades:
Baron

gets:
Jack, Evans

LAC shed tremendous amout of salary and gains a more than capable pg to replace BD

NYK trades:
Curry

Gets:
Jose

NYK sheds salary immediately and adds a starting pg

Philly trades:
Iggy, Brand

gets:
Demar, 13th pick, Banks, Curry, 3m cash

Philly drops ALOT of salary and opens space for some young guys to grow. Jrue, Demar, Speights, Young is a solid young core.

Toronto trades;
Jose, Jack, Demar, Banks, Evans, 13th, 3m Cash

gets:
Baron, Iggy, Brand

Toronto adds alot of slary and loses some youth but upgrades talent a huge amount and has a better blend of defense and offensive styles. Use full MLE on a pg(Blake, Luke), Resign Amir, Rasho, Wright.

Baron/Luke
Iggy/wright/beli
Turk/weems/
bosh/amir/dorsey
bargs/brand/rasho

To Indiana
Jose Calderon

To Philadelphia
TJ Ford, Reggie Evans, #13 pick

To Toronto
Andre Iguodala, Jason Smith

I admit 76ers could get a better deal for Iggy. But still they get expirings for 2011 (drop with Dalembert, Kapono and Willie Green), a serviceable point guard and Evans their fan favorite. #13 will help them rebuild with #2 Turner.
Jason Smith was criminally underused. They will part easier with him than Marreese Speights

Jack/Banks
Iguodala/Derozan
Turkoglu/Weems
Bosh/Amir
Bargnani/Smith

(and then the obligatory Turk/Banks/Belinelli for Arenas and we are set)

Edit: Actually screw Arenas
The more I look at that lineup the more I fall in love with it. Would broker whats left of our future second rounders and maybe even another first pick (can we buy one from Atlanta perhaps?) to make this deal work.

Great deal for Toronto, OK for Indiana, horrible for Philadelphia. It's essentially the 13th pick for Iguodala. No way in the world they'd do that. If they're gonna trade Iggy, Brand is gonna be tagged along in the deal.

Now that you mention it, its doable...

to Toronto: Brand, Iguodala, Smith (or Speights)
to Philadelphia: Bargnani, Evans, Banks, TJ Ford, #13
to Indiana: Calderon, Jrue holiday

Salaries match and Philly might actually like it.

Only problem - is it Bosh/JO all over again? Are Bosh and Brand too similar players?

Jack/Belinelli
Iguodala/Derozan
Turkoglu/Weems
Brand/Amir
Bosh/Smith

Thats one hell of a starting lineup... A bit more realistic than Snooch's "Baron-plan"

Just like before, great trade for the Raps, great trade for Indy, but pretty bad one for Philadelphia. Why are they trading away Holliday (who they love), Iguodala, Smith ( a servicable player in his own right) for Bargs and the 13th pick? That's not all that fantastic for them. Sure they get rid of Brand's contract, but there's no incentive for them to do this deal. They're giving up the most and receiving the least.
ANd no way the Sixers trade Iguodala in division where they can face him 4-6 times a year.

Because they will be in Oklahoma mode past 2011, no long commitments except Bargs and Lou Williams, the rest still on rookie contracts. Perfect opportunity to rebuild with youth.

Of course initially I was just thinking of moving Iguodala to make way for Turner.

Doesn't make sense. You try to accumulate as much young talent as possible without having to trade as much talent as possible.

Face it, unless there's a third team involved AND the Sixers get a REALLY good return, there's no way they'd agree to trading Iguodala in-division.

Blow up city.

Trade 1:

Toronto Raptors trade Andre Bargnani ,Demar Derozan to the Minnesota T-Wolves for Kevin Love, Ryan Holllins and Ryan Gomes and their 16th overall pick in the draft.

Toronto gets a more defensive/rebounding presence inside with Love and Gomes and Hollins will be an adequate back up at the 5. Love will give us a double/double on the year. Many options with the 16th pick.

NBA Trade Machine - ESPN

Trade #2

Toronto Raptors trade Hedo Turkoglu , Reggie Evans and Marcus Banks and the #13 pick to the Washington Wizards for Gilbert Arenas and Nick Young.

Washington gets to unload their bad seed and at the same time gathering another lottery pick and some expirings. Hedo can play on the floor with Wall to help out with distributing the ball and running the offense when the rook gets lost.

Toronto gambles big time that Arenas will be a model citizen and regain the game at a high level even though they get the Hedo experiment off the books. Young will be a solid threat off the bench with decent 3 point shooting and size in the backcourt.

Trade 3:

Toronto trades Jose Calderon, Marco Bellineli and a conditional future first rounder to the New Orleans Hornets for Emeka Okafor.

Toronto gets rid of Jose who is on the way out but gambles that Okafor can stay healthy and deliver a solid inside defense and rebounding. NOH gets a legit back up behind Paul in Jose and Marco has enough talent to be a contributor.

Trade Number 4

Toronto trades PG Jarret Jack and a future second rounder to the Utah Jazz for Ronnie Price and CJ Miles. Toronto gets some wing help and a back up point guard and the Jazz get a steady performer in Jack.

Sign free agent Steve Blake for back up point guard duties

With the 16th pick draft James Anderson (Okla)

Bosh Re-signs

After the madness

Arenas/Blake/Price
Weems/Anderson/Young/
Gomes/Miles/Weems
Bosh/Okafor/Dorsey
Love/Okafor/Hollins

EASTERN CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS!

Is there anyway the Raps could land Marc Gasol in a 3 team S&T for Bosh?
