Knight won't be there though, but I agree. Walker is pretty aggressive one on one and his man might be hesitant to drive with Davis/Bismack waiting for him. Would make even JC look better defensively. No one is afraid to drive in the middle on the Raps making our guards look terrible - I think it would make most guards look that way. If there was fear in the post we would see less driving and better overall defense.

On a side note, what do you think of trading our pick to Sacramento for there pick and maybe next years top-5 protected or something.

They're desperate for a point guard, and both will more than likely be gone by seven.

Personally, I like the idea of drafting a big this year, so I think we could definetly get a big, and get something of value by trading down.

Just a thought.
I think it's the other way around no?

Yeah, I don't think it would be absolutely atrocious as the interior defense would be great and would be able to cover for the perimeter defense.

As long as they'd be able to get they're hands up in there man's face when he's launching up a shot, then I don't think it would be historically bad or anything.

I also like the idea of Jonas at #5 and if you could trade Bargs to GS for their pick and Ellis then you could have Bismack. Interior D will always make your perimeter tougher

Bayless/JC
Ellis/Barbosa
DD/JJ
Davis/Amir
Jonas/Bismack

I've also heard there interested in Knight, but this article says that they're interested in Walker a great deal.

A source said that the Utah Jazz are very interested in Kemba Walker at No. 3. The question is what they would then do with Devin Harris. They could move Harris to shooting guard and play him alongside Walker.

I really like this lineup, although I doubt there's anyway that this is possible.

I love the Bismack and Jonas rotation at centre though.

Interesting.....honestly I think Knight and his D(and 2' taller) would be better with Harris at SG. Harris needs defensive help back there.

but the interior defense would be almost impossinle to get by FA, so let"s put some trade to acquire one.
as we rebuild, we need some good rookie center or sophomore whom are not to high on prize :
asik, pekovic, thompson, booker, etc...

i still think this year we can manage to send our big contract away (JC, Bargs and barbosa) and get some nice lottery pick)

1. JC to sac for garcia and 7# pick
2. Bargs to wash for booker + 6# pick + 2nd round 2011
3. barbosa to knicks for thuriaf and 2nd round.

draft knight, leonard and biyumbo
resign reggie

Bayless/knight
DD/garcia
JJ/leonard/Kleiza
amir/davis/evans
thuriaf/booker/biyumbo

That first trade is awful. I stopped reading after that.

The more I look the more I'm starting to see what Marty sees in Jonas. I like his play and his potential.

garcia is a great teammate (as they said in sac), and he motivates his teamates all year.
so as a guy who will play 10-15 minutes, and can play some D, he will be fine.

thuriaf, is also a good teamate, andan energy guy.
he had in the past some health problem, but now that seems done, and inside he can be a great presence. even if he play only 15-20 minutes per game, that can be enough.

all togethrr with evans, they can be our pratice guy for all our youngs.

we will not have a playoffs team next year, but that will put us in good condition with the new cba, and for the next draft at least or to trade some of our young.

The first trade is awful for Sacramento, not us.

Then why would we draft Bismack if hes just going to be a third stringer? If we draft Bismack then he should start, there is no question about it.

If Minny takes Williams why not trade for Webster as they'll have Williams/Beasley/Webster/Hayward. Bargs for Webster/2012 pick. Raps draft Jonas #5

Bayless/JC
DD/Barbosa
Webster/JJ/Wright
Davis/Amir/Evans
Jonas/Dorsey/Alabi

Though I like the trade below the best, the above trade might be easier to do

Jonas at #5 and trade Bargs/filler/2012 pick to GS for Ellis/2011 pick then you could have Bismack.

Bayless/JC
Ellis/Barbosa
DD/JJ/Wright
Davis/Amir/Evans
Jonas/Bismack/Dorsey/Alabi

Trade:
tor give davis + Bargs + tor 2012 first
GSW give ellis + first 2011
Minny give Milicic + #2 2011

GSW gets davis + Bargs + 2012 first
minny gets ellis
Tor gets Milicic + #2 2011 + #11 2011

Minny gets his sg spot, and a huge boost.
GSW gets some nice pieces

we get 2 pick, and a nice center.

we can draft williams at 2# + jonas at 5# + tristan thompson at 11#.
I think biyumbo will be out at the 11 spot.

Bayless/JC
DD/barbo
*williams*/JJ/kleiza
Amir/*thompson*/evans
milicic/*jonas*/alabi

I want Brandon Knight, and it looks like the only way we're getting him is if we trade up to #3. So here goes.

To Utah:

Bayless, Amir, TPE

To Toronto:

Okur, 3rd pick, future first, cash.

With the 3rd pick, we take Knight. Then we use the cash to help buy out Okur so he can return to Utah. With the 5th pick, we take a center (one of Jonas or Biyombo, but lets say we take Biyombo)

Knight/Calderon
DD/Barbosa
Johnson/Kleiza
Davis/Dorsey
Bargnani/Biyombo

Not the greatest team, but we'd be building a good core towards the future with some good trading chips included (Bargs, Jose, Barbs, Kleiza...)

i don't see utah do this, they lose to much for not so much in fact.
millsap+favors no need of amir
harris and walker or knight no need for bayless. and okur is maybe overpaid, but it's not a problem for them.
they want to rebuild and they will do it properly i suppose.
