Tor get a highpick and a prospect Center.

trade 2 :
tor give calderon
Sac give dalembert + 2nd 2011

sac needs a real pg who can lead the offense, and be a leader vet on this team.
tor gets a vet center who will teach booker and alabi, and a early 2nd round pick.

2 top7 pick this year + a 31-36 pick.

bayless/barbosa/top7 pick(walker or knight or irving)
DD/barbosa/2nd rd pick
JJ/kleiza/top7 pick(williams or barnes or T jones)
davis/amir/dorsey
dalembert/booker/alabi

next year will not be a great season (lockout or development), so this roster can be ready for the 2012/2013 season.
Washington is not going to give their pick especially to another team in the Eastern Conference. They're probably going to draft a wing player at the 2 or 3. Think about it, if youre rebuilding a team you don't want to help another rebuilding team in the same conference as you. An example of this is the MJ trade earlier this month.

1. Tyson isn't coming here. Would you leave Dallas and another shot with a championship team or play for a rebuilding team. Plus he loves it there and always wanted to be in Dallas.

2. Derrick Williams will be picked before our turn by either Minny or Cleveland.

3. No playoffs or at most 1st round exit

wash gets turner + ajinca
Phily gets Bargnani + wright
Orlando gets speights + booker+ young + barbosa + evans+ wash 1st 2011 + toronto 1st 2011 + 1st 2012 + toronto 2nd round 2012/2013 + cash.

sign dalembert + pietrus

Here ya go.

Sactown trades:
Caspi, Thompson, 2011 pick

gets:
M.Williams, Bayless, ZaZa

Sactown upgrades the sf spot, moves a player wanting a trade and clears a bit of a glut at the pf spot and adds a young pg.

Atlanta trades:
M.Williams, ZaZa

gets:
Bargs, Kleiza.

Atlanta adds some shooting to their lineup with Bargs whose defense should easily be masked by playing beside Horford and smith. Kleiza adds some scoring off the bench to go with Jamal, or to potentially replace Jamal if he is let go.

Toronto trades:
Bargs, Bayless, Kleiza

gets:"
Thompson, Caspi, Sactowns pick

Toronto saves money, about 9 million to put towards signing a starting center in the offseason. Having 2 top 5 picks and a tpe should allow team to move up and grab the top pick securing Irving. Thompson is a nice backup center and Caspi will pair nicely with Demar at the sf spot leaving JJ as energy off the bench.

Irving/Jose
Demar/Barbo
Caspi/JJ
Davis/Amir
FA/Thompson

I have a general trade question, so I'll post it in this thread.

Since the season is over for the Raptors, are they allowed to trade with other teams that did not qualify for the playoffs? Or do they have to wait until after the championship?

That's a pretty realistic trade, except I don't see Sacramento giving up a top 5 pick.

as i understand it, teams can trade as soon as their last game is played.

edit - here it is (the date is from the 09-10 season, but the rule still applies):

Quote:
When is the trade deadline?

The deadline to trade players during the season is Thursday, Feb. 18 at 3 p.m. ET. After that, teams must wait until their season is over before they can make a trade.

i would think so, especially since our tpe is still good until a few days into the offseason.

tpe is overrated. BC isn't going to make a trade just to use it. I'm sure it's flexible, but I don't think BC is going to make any dramatic trades, so the TPE will almost be useless.

Believe me, BC will make a trade with the TPE.

Partly to save his own ass. He's not going to watch by and keep this same team. I'm looking for a big deal before or during draft day.

After 5 years of Bryan Colangelo, we know he's capable of making blockbuster deals.

1. We had our shot at Chandler, there is no way hes coming to Toronto now.

2. Trade Jose and Ajinca I can understand, but why for Augustine and Diaw? That baffles me. Bayless > Augustine by miles.

3. Plausible.

4. Plausible.

I'm not sure about Bayless being better then Augustine. I don't think Charlotte would make that deal. He had a breakout season last season without Felton there. I think next year he'll be averaging a double double. I would love to have Augustine, but I don't think Charlotte would give him up for Calderon and Ajinca, he's one of the only things they have that' looking good.

The trade I like is Bargnani for Marvin Williams and Zaza

Marvin is the anti Bargs. Doesn't light up the scoreboard but is long and athletic and hits the glass, add that to difference by subtraction defensively/rebounding by dumping Bargnani and you get a big difference. Marvin is a good glue guy and on our team post Bargnani he probably puts up 15ppg, not that it means anything

Bargnani is a good fit for Atl too, Horford and Smith are exactly the types Bargs needs to play with and they need a spark trade like this. Also allows Horford to play at PF for long periods

Do that and after drafting Kanter at #3

Bayless/Calderon
Derozan/Barbosa
Marvin/James Johnson
Davis/Amir
Zaza/Kanter

Probably a worse team but we defend and hit the glass and have a ton of muscle in the frontcourt going forward which is all good. Eventually plan is Demar to be consistent 20ppg guy, one of Bayless, Davis or Kanter to be 2nd guy who gets doubles (probably Kanter), then add a star prospect in the next two drafts and we're looking good on both ends
