LAL out:
Walton, Fisher(to be bought out and returned), 2011 first

in
Jose, Rautins

LAL adds some shooting and distributing at the pg spot.

NYK out:
Buike, Rautins, Williams, Mason

in:
Barbosa, LAL pick

NYK adds some offense off the bench who is no stranger to D'Antoni or Amare

Phily out:
Young, 2011 pick

In:
Weems, Dorsey, Williams, Toronto 2011 First, Miami 2011 First

Philly moves up, adds some youth adds another pick

Toronto out:
Picks, Dorsey, Barbosa, Jose, Weems

in:
Buike, Mason, Young, Philly pick, Walton, Fisher(to be bought out)

Toronto knocks off about 11 million in cap this offseason after everyone is left to expire and adds a solid young sf in Young. Philly pick keeps them with another asset to use in draft for depth after using alot of space in offseason to sign a center.

1.a.
toronto give bargnani
houston give Hayes + tpe(4M) + houston first 2011
b.
toronto give wright + miami first
houston give brooks

houston gets a center like they need cuz' yao out.
toronto gets a prospect C and a legit PG, one first pick.

2.
chicago give korver + charlotte first 2012.
toronto give barbosa

chicago gets the changemaker sg they need.
toronto gets a solid sg backup, good 3s shooter.

3.
toronto give jose + alabi + evans + tpe
portland give batum+ miller + pryzbilla
sac give casspi + landry + jeter

toronto gets batum + pryzbilla + jeter
sac gets miller + evans
portland gets casspi + jose + landry + alabi + tpe (6M). (+if they require it : houston first 2011)

Sac gets a real pg to pair with T. evans. and R. evans is a 5M expiring.

Portland gets some valuable young asset with casspi and landry + jose to change the pace of the backcourt with fernandez and wesley. + some money (tpe).
we can give them the houston first if they want.

toronto gets a real stud young SF.
and a backup Center and a 3rd pg.

Brooks/bayless/jeter
DD/korver/weems
batum/kleiza/weems
amir/davis/dorsey
hayes/pryzbilla/ajinca.

that can create a young core for some years.
pryzbilla, hayes, brooks are expiring, lets hope they sign an extension here.
and we have our first 2011 and the charlotte first 2012 to go with our. and maybe we can keep the houston first 2011.

so that is a real rebuilding team with some money to spend and 4 good picks in the 2 next draft.

expirings to resign :
brooks 33M/5y
pryzbilla 6M/2y
hayes 30M/5y
weems 10M/3y
dorsey 3M/3y
ajinca 5M/3y

that make :
6+2.5+0.5 = 9 at pg
2.5+4.5+3 = 10 at sg
2.5+5 = 7.5 at sf
5+2+1 = 8.5 at pf
6+3+1.5 = 10.5 at C
= 45M in payroll for next year + one high draft picks (4/5M)
so that put us at 50M payroll next season.

a simple one.

Houston trades:

T-Will, 2011 first round pick small TPE

gets:
Wright, weems, 2011 Miami first, 2011 Toronto second

Houston adds a defensive sf to finish out season at a years reduction of salary of=ver the very seldom used Twill. Also adds another young wing prospect who at times can be a solid player just needs to be away from the Raps and be surrounded by pros like Battier and Scola. Adds a couple of picks, one latge first and one early second. Houoston upgrades their talent level overall(even though marginally) but it costs them by dropping them in a weak draft.

toronto adds a sf who can do a bit of everything and just needs to be given a bit of time to play through some mistakes and allowed to grow with a young rebuilding team. Fills a large hole on the raps at the sf spot and can take pressure off the pgs. raps also move the miami pick up to the middle of the first round.

Houston's looking for a stud, and this trade gives far too much value for Weems and Wright, even if it does cost them less. If anything, we'd be the team getting the late first and second rounder while giving up a lottery pick.... not that we would do that. Weems and Wright just aren't any good, expecially for a team that has too much middle of the road depth.

Read this on RealGM...I think it might work and it's great.

Draft Terrence Jones if no Kyrie and then....

Jose, Bargs 2012 first for Steph Curry and Biedrins.

Jose, Bargs and 2012 first for just Curry wouldn't be enough.

Are you kidding me? The golden state GM said Curry is movable, but Ellis is not. Jose/Bargnani is actually too much for Curry, Bargnani has a high trade value.

come on now, I think Bosh can be had for Julian Wright and a 2nd round pick, so that should definitely net us Curry.

But seriously...thats definitely a fair trade. Our 2012 first has high value around the league im sure.

Homerism aside, would you guys honestly accept that trade if you were Golden State? I wouldn't. Curry is something special. He was the power to score at will from anywhere on the court. As much as I support Bargs, him and Jose won't net us Curry. And you can ask anyone on the GS forums.

If they wanted to trade Curry, they could probably find better offers elsewhere.

Something like this might work.

Davis, Kleiza, Alabi, Bayless
to gs for

Curry, Beans

GS saves alot of money as they cut beans salary in half and add a young prospect at the pf spot who defends, blocks shots and rebounds(which they desparately need) Kleiza is kind of useless but if he returns even somewhat to form he will be a nice peice off the bench there. Alabi is another nice young peice that needs to develop.

Would include Bayless instead of tpe if needed or would include rights to swap picks in this draft to sweeten pot.

Toronto adds a rebounding center either off bench or starting and a great young pg. allows draft pick to be for any of the sf available. resign reggie, possibly weems and a minimum pg

Curry/Jose/vet min
Demar/Barbosa/weems
Draft?/JJ/weems
Amir/Reggie
Bargs/Beans/Ajinca

atlanta is in a freefall and i think this offseason they'll be looking to trade one of either horford of josh smith. my guess is josh smith. let's get him. next season's starting lineup is going to look like this (ideally):

calderon
derozan
derrick williams
josh smith
marc gasol

that's a top five seed in the east in a couple years, and a tough out in the playoffs

woo it's friday baby what up

If I was GM, I'd make a run at Gasol during free agency and trade Bargnani away if I'm successful.
