Wash gets martin (expiring) + 1 futur DEN 1st pick

trade 2 :
TO give : Calderon + alabi
Wash give : YI + seraphin
PHILI give : Hawes + Kapono
Denver give : lawson + smith

Wash gets JR smith
Phili gets Calderon + Alabi
Denver gets : YI and Hawes
Toronto gets : seraphin, kapono and lawson

Denver get some scorer and become a better offensive team :
billups/arenas/carter
iguodala/afflalo
carmelo/forbes
Harrington/yi/williams
anderson/hawes/Ely

Wash gets ride of arenas and gets two expiring ( both for 23.2M) and can sign them in the offseason to go next year with a lower contract.

Wall/heinrich
smith/young/gee
Thorton/howard/martin
Blatch/K Martin
Mcgee/Booker/Ndiaye

Phili get iguodala out and gets a backup pg who can help Jrue to drive this team. And peja is a huge expiring, so they will be under the cap before new CBA. so they can adjust at the moment.
they get some vet who can teach and lead this team.

Jrue/Jose/Lou williams
turner/meeks
brackins/peja/nocioni
Brand/songalia/Young
speight/battie/Alabi

Raptors send alabi, jose and peja and gets a true center, a young Forward, another young PG
Raps buyout kapono, and then we have a more balance team.

RAPS :
bayless/Lawson
DD/barbosa
Weems/Kleiza/wright
Bargs/amir/seraphin
nene/davis/dorsey

keep evans and sign him as a veteran for next year.
he can be the vet captain on the bench, and a great cheerleader.
and with 3 draft pick this year we can get some decent prospects.
why are you putting davis as a backup centre for our team?

you can put him in PF section and amir in C.. this does not matter.
They are big enough to play C or PF.

can you explain your mind ?

i don't think denver will be less winnable with the player they gets.
and i don't award wash so much.

i think it make toronto better and each team keep good pieces to go forward.
but if i'm wrong i would be happy to hear what you have to that about this deal.

Trade one: Wash gets martin (expiring) + 1 futur DEN 1st pick, only gives up Arenas? He has the worst contract in the league and Denver has to give a pick? Seems like you don't understand how every owner doesn't have deep pockets.

Denver give Martin and nÚnÚ + 2 futur first pick, Denver gets arenas and Iguodala? How does this make Denver a winning team? No size, and redundant talent. I guess you assume Carmelo would be traded, but Denver might as well hold the picks and rebuild.

Trade two: Denver give : lawson + smith, Denver gets : YI and Hawes.
Yi and Hawes for Lawson alone isn't enough. Sure Smith is a headcase, but those other guys are fringe NBA players at this point.

Of course they make toronto better.... you're ripping other teams off.

Raptors

Bored on a Tuesday night...........i have just been handed over the reigns of the Raptors and here is what I am going to do .....a rebuild of epic proportions lol

Trade 1:
NBA Trade Machine - ESPN

Toronto trades Andre Bargnani, Jose Calderon and Demar Derozan to the Sacramento Kings for Demarcus Cousins, Omar Casspi, Samuel Dalembert and the Sac Kings 2011 First round draft pick.

I know people will say WTF . Cousins has the potential to be any kind of player if he gets his shit together and he doesn't make much money, Casspi is a nice young cheap piece for the future and Dalembert is a big expiring at years end. The first round pick could be a high pick and while everyone says how weak the draft is , none of us are fortune tellers and with a couple of high picks the sky could be the limit.

Trade #2
NBA Trade Machine - ESPN

Toronto trades Peja Stojakovic to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Nenand Kristic , Mo Peterson and Byron Mullens.

All this trade is give us a different 2 expiring contracts as well as a project in big man Mullens who comes cheap. Mo Pete dons the Raps jersey one more time for nostalgia sake. Both him and Kristic won't be brought back.

Trade #3
NBA Trade Machine - ESPN

Three team deal

Toronto out Barbosa,Alabi, Dorsey, Evans
Toronto In: Troy Murphy, Lance Stephenson

Toronto gains yet another expiring big and a cheap young guard with major upside .

Trade #4
NBA Trade Machine - ESPN

Toronto trades Ed Davis and Julian Wright to the Minnesota T-Wolves for PG Johnny Flynn.

A good young PG for the rebuild.

The INSANITY!

New Line up to chug out the rest of the season

Flynn/Bayless
Weems/Stephenson/Mo Pete
Casspi/Kleiza
Cousins/Amir/ Murphy
Dalembert/Krisitc/Mullens

Sign a cheapy Pg to fill out the backcourt. Continue on to operation Tank/Fiscal responsiblity for the rest of the season get a couple of good draft picks and then watch as about 35 million comes off the cap and we will be left with a group of Flynn/Stephenson/Amir/Cousins/Kleiza, Bayless, Casppi and Mullens hope like hell you can draft either Harrison Barnes and Kyle Irving ....sign a couple of free agents and we will be a factor in the 2012 playoffs!

My head hurts lol

Toronto sends Ed Davis and cash considerations to LA Lakers in exchange of Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol. (?)

Other than the fact gortat and blatche would create a logjam in the front court, but i really dont like blatche's game, he is generally regarded as a player who takes some of the worst shots in the nba. A player his size taking a ton of long twos is not amazing, consider we already have barg doing that...

Calderon

for

Dalembert
--------

TPE/Weems/Kleiza/Miami pick

for

Iguodala/Thad

Bayless/Barbosa
Iguodala/Barbosa/Derozan
Young/Derozan/Wright
Bargnani/Davis/Amir
Dalembert/Amir/Dorsey

We still keep Reggie's expiring, draft pick and spend the summer going after a PG. We'd certainly be one of the better defensive teams in the league.

Right now that's all he is and all he should be unless the starters can't be upgraded. Both players coming in are better then he is.

I don't know what your fascination with Dalembert is... its like you're in love with scrubs. Anytime we get scrub players you bandwagon onto them. For example Marco Belinelli, Jamario Moon, Rasho, Kleiza, jake voskuhl etc etc. That list is like your all-time favorite players list.

Show me how i was huge fans of those players? I'd love to see that. You seriously have issues. Dalembert is a large expiring, so blow me.

I don't care if hes a large expiring, there are many other viable options out there. Clearly you don't know how to build a team.

please elaborate on these viable options. Jeff's trade scenarios seem to be sound in this instance. How does that show he doesn't know how to build a team?

We could trade for draft picks or young guys who have something to prove .. some players that come to mind are Weems, Amir, Bayless. If trading for young guys didn't impress you, then I don't know what will. Instead of trading for guys like amir, sonny and bayless would you rather want to trade for washed up veterans like Hedo, J.O, rasho, marion etc etc. Ya I can see how that worked out, good plan there buddy.
