Well yeah but he would put us into the apron and we would not have cap space next year. big salary for Thad I think. I wonder if JJ might get the same ppg and per on a crappy sixers team with 30 mpg. Probably not.

it's either I overrate him or you underrate him or maybe bit of both. I don't think 10mil is too much for Young. I would take him Amir, and I really like Amir
that should still leave us enough $ for a Millsap type of FA

D-Mo is useless..
I would rather save the pick instead of someone like mayo or dmo

D-mo is far from useless. I'd love him on the Raps to play minutes at the 4 and 5 - he's a pretty mobile 7' and only 23 years old. He's turned it on a bit lately and imo, he's been used poorly in Houston.

I saw Rocket's Game quite a lot this season. And to me he played really poorly...
His biggest thing's been too thin, giving him less rebounds. And his personality is also strange.

How about giving the rest of our MLE to Sessions?

We used the tax payer's MLE, so all we have left is the minimum for vets, or a little over the minimum for rookies.

So, assuming MU does still want to address the backup C spot (which I don't think he does, but many do), what targets are out there we could swap our expirings for that will not eat into 2015 cap room?

Joel Anthony for Hansbrough (saves C's 500k)
Bismack Biyombo for Hansbrough (saves Hornets 500k)
Brandan Wright for Lou Williams (saves us 500k, gives Mavs another guard scorer)
Kosta Koufas for Hansbrough (saves us 300k, give MEM a PF)
Kendrick Perkins for Fields and Hansbrough (gives them a wing defender a la Sefolosha and a rebounding PF for a C that drags down their starting lineup, saves us 200k).

That's all I can see that's even remotely possible. Might need to throw in a 2nd rounder for some of those. Not particularly excited about any of the options. I like what we have now.

On a side note; Bismack Biyombo is only 21?!?!? (will be turning 22 next month)

Purportedly... I think there was some hubbub about just how trustworthy his birth certificate was around his draft time.

the phx/tor trade straight up is pretty fair but i doubt okc would give up adams for a first rounder, he is already a rotation player.

Toronto get : david west

indiana get : psycho t/hayes/2016 1st

this trade would only be slightly possible if pacers choose to rebuild. this would provide 2 expirings and a future 1st for them while Toronto would get a great pf, making our bench better as well.

I think this is a realistic win-win deal—
preface: Montiejunas spoke out in his local press recently, which is the Genesis of the idea. source: theScore

The trade idea:
Toronto out: Tyler Hansbrough (to Houston)
Toronto in: Donatas Motiejunas (from Houston)

I'd probably go out and recruit Jermaine O'neal.

Loved JO while he was here but it would be a stupid signing

# of games played for the last 4 seasons:

24, 25, 55, 44 played around 20 mins all 4 years

He had to become the spot starter when Bogut got hurt and was the only backup big there (Ezeli was hurt and Barnes/Green aren't really bigs). All we need is him to play about 10-15 a night max, which I think is the best option out there.

edit: Speights was utterly useless.
