Good lord, just stop for a week, and think of something realistic and actually makes sense. All you do is pull random names off teams and make up a horrid trade out of it.

Yeah I have to agree. Less bias and being more realistic would be nice.

In terms of Lee, I dont think GSW is going to be able to trade him, and if they do, theyd surely be looking to receive a starting caliber PF in return as theyre in win now mode, something Patterson/Speights cant do in terms of producing good numbers in the starting 5. Your trade wouldnt get them closer to winning because of their massive hole at the 4, plus Demar would take touches away from Curry/Thompson, and less touches for Iggy to create, which would surely lower their efficiency. I just dont think Demar would be a good fit in that offence because he generally holds the ball too long and isnt a good enough ball handler to touch the ball as much as he needs to when you already have Steph and Iggy.

And again, I think in 2-3 years, Barnes will be considered the better player anyway. If I had to choose between the two I'd take Barnes without hesitation.
OK, so first my deal is one that they'd never take. Now I add in a starting PF to mitigate the main issue you had with the deal from GSW point of view and the deal is bad for the Raps? I'm not trading Amir for nothing - I'm including him in the previous package to be able to get Barnes and two other cost controlled assets.

I agree that Barnes is the better player. That's why I want to trade for him. And am willing to take on what you just called an untradeable contract in Lee, and give up at least DD and Lowry and maybe Amir to do so.

I'd try to include Novak to OKC if possible.

I like including OKC since it gives us a young, raw prospect in PJ3 who we can give some minutes (no more 30mpg Salmons), while also getting rid of a productive player in TH.

Perkins isn't that bad since his contract expires next season (same time as Fields), so we'll have some good cap space in the 2014-2015 offseason.

MKG and Sessions for Derozan.

CHA gets a scoring option on the wing which they've lacked seemingly forever, and Toronto gets their shutdown SF of the future. Who says no?

Toronto says no because DD is too good man. Top 5 SG. Can't deal that away for some wing who can't shoot. DD is greater than Wiggins, Smart, Parker, etc. Loves the city + works hard too.

I'd take Wiggins for DD before they could finish asking and hang up before they realize the mistake they just made.

What do you guys think a top say, five, pick costs us at the draft? Assuming we continue to win and have a 15-18 pick.

Valanciunius likely, or Derozan plus our pick to a stupid GM. As I've said before, I would be extremely hesitant in trading Val unless the brain trust is 100% certain on a specific prospect in this draft. Vals skillset and size together is a rare commodity in todays league, I really believe he's going to be a very special and valuable player in a few years time.

Maybe to a team like Denver or ATL who has a high pick due to the trade, and doesn't need one of those guys (well, they NEED them, but not as much as teams normally in the 1-5 range) would give it up for less.

I doubt it, as ATL is really just a star perimeter player away from being REALLY good, and DEN is in a situation where they have too many rotation players and are in need of a star player to really propel them to the top of the West.

While Toronto has played better since trading Gay, the Raptors remain active in the trade market. One opposing executive told FSO he'd be shocked if point guard Kyle Lowry was still with the team after the February trade deadline. New York and Brooklyn are reportedly most interested, but Orlando and New Orleans are also considered potential Lowry landing spots.

Can't think of any trades that work with them though.
