No way Bucks give up Antetokounmpo and Ilyasova for DD.

Ilyasova is plying pretty bad now so I doubt they would have any problem trading him. Antetokounpo is more of a wishful thinking

What if we horde other teams' 2015 picks and ask Wiggins to stay one more year in Kansas trolololol

Milwaukee has no need for DD considering they're last in the EC

That would be smart thing to do, but Milwuakee has way too much fun being on the treadmill.

What about DeRozan and Fields to Detroit for Monroe and Villanueva?

Detroit lacks for SG and SF and it would clear the frontcourt for Smith and Drummond, while pairing good friends in the backcourt. Would clear Fields off our books and allow us to solidify our frontcourt with Amir, Patterson and Hansborough as 3,4 and 5.

Then we draft a wing.

Even with improved range from DD that would be one of the worst 3point shooting teams in the league.
I would do it, question is how much do you pay Monroe (assuming he would stay)

Maybe. Although I like Monroe, with him and JV the wings have to defend very well. Also - Monroe will have to be paid in the summer. Detroit might not want to add LF's salary to that deal but who knows.

Raps - giant glut at PF/C - Monroe, JV, Amir, TH and PP - who I'm assuming in this scenario gets offered the QO or extended - or this is just for now. Not even counting Hayes and his salary next year.

Give Monroe a 4 year 45M deal and call it a day. If he wants to go elsewhere, he would be restricted so he can't just walk.

As for Detroit, I think DD would be a good fit there.... he can score efficiently and having Smith and Drummond would hide his defensive flaws.

Not that raw. He plays better defense than DeMar ever did, and he can knock down 3s. His numbers are a bit misleading atm. Detroit is a team that has undergone big changes over the summer and everyone is just starting to get used to each other and the system. Not the easiest situation for a rookie at first, but he's doing a very good job. I bet he'll make the 1st rookie team at the end of the year.

I like that direction but it looks pricey. They could probably buy two afflalos for that much.
