What would it cost us to acquire a pick for McCollum?
and Does anyone have interest in him?

Could be a solid backup PG to Lowry this season and depending on what happens with Lowry this season could be the future of the team at the PG position.

He'd be a great piece to have.... I'd move DD straight up for him if we didn't have to take on any long term salary. We could get a PG of the future while they'd get a very reliable SG with good size. Where is McCollum slated to go?

#7 on most boards
Looks like Sac wants him as a character player with some excitement

I don't think he's a point guard, I don't think he should be the main playmaker, but I think he's going to be good. I think of him as an OJ Mayo with a proper attitude. He's not as strong as Mayo but I think he will be a similar type of player in the future.

I think CJ McCollum would be the best fit for our team (if only Marcus Smart was still in this draft). He fits the role of a backup combo guard and sixth man who can provide you scoring off the bench, and he also provides three-point shooting.

Then again, I think we could get about the same production (probably more) from signing Randy Foye to the MLE this offseason.

Kinda funny, our new assistant GM Jeff Weltman's former team Milwaukee picked our targeted player Giannis Adetokunbo. lol

Hopefully we can make a deal similar to the Jrue Holiday one by packaging our 2014 First and Ross in exchange for Cousins or Aldridge

not a bad idea considering there are teams taking tanking to a whole new level, I've never seen tanking starting at the draft before the draft if that makes sense

its going to be near impossible for us to get a top 5 pick the draft from what I've seen in this years draft

bucks have said they'll match any offer on jennings—i've read that monta, however, is gone.

maybe the bucks would be interested in derozen for a s&t reddick and rights to giannis?

Tank mode :
1.
LAL get Barg
Tor get MWP + sacre + 1st lakers 2014 (unrestricted)

Buy MWP out

2.
CHA get Gay
Tor get Gordon + session + 1st detroit 2014 (top 8 restricted)

Buy Gordon out.

3.
CHI get DD + Gray + 2nd rd 2015 Tor
Tor get Deng + 1st chicago 2014 (unrestricted)

4.
Utah get Lowry
Tor get 1st Utah 2014 (top 3 protected) + Alec Burks

5. Sign AA for 1yr 3M.

Burks/Session
Ross/AA
Deng/Fields
Amir/Acy/Kleiza
JV/Sacre

if we buy out gordon and MWP that put us in very good situation with 3 others expirings in the summer of 2014 (Kleiza, Session, Deng)
make that 12-15 spot with d-leaguers or euro prospect.
we will have 5 1st picks in the 2014 draft.

Even with all that i don't think we could be a top 5 worst team next season. LOL !

Please stop. Please. Stop overvaluing the raptors' players. Realize that next year's draft picks are the most valuable in years.

First trade: In that first deal the Lakers take on more than 13 million in total salary and give up a coveted draft pick. So, not only do they give up a coveted 2014 pick, they also take on salary which will hinder their 2014 summer free agent frenzy. That isn't happening.

The 2nd deal - Charlotte is in a pick keeping mode. No way do they take on RG's PO for 2015 while sending a 1st round pick without shedding similar salary from 2015.

3rd deal - no chance in hell. Not only does Chicago take on DD's long contract, they also give up a 2014 pick and also give up a much better player in Deng.

4th deal. Once again, would you trade a first round 2014 pick with a young prospect for KL? that isn't happening.

Utah has just drafted their point guard. Btw, the Chicago trade is terribly unfair to Chicago. Deng is an All Star. Maybe you mean Boozer.

Raptors trade Bargnani, Lowry, 2015 1st and cash for Rondo
S&T Derozan for Millsap
Amnesty Kleiza
Sign Iggy
Sign Kabongo
Sign Oden

Rondo/Kabongo
Iguodala/Ross
Gay/Fields
Millsap/Johnson/Acy
Valanciunas/Oden

Shit loads into the tax but MU said he would do that

Boston want to blow it up and who else but Bargs to lead the charge... heaps of picks and salary by 2014-15

You can't just sign Iggy and Oden. You need cap space.

Re that trade, I'm sure Boston can do better.

Bargs isn't expiring. Anyway, Rondo is a legit All Star when healthy. He has his issues but still, he's a very good player on a good contract. Someone would offer more.
