I can't see Scola actually wanting to come here. He's not going to agree to a contract with a team just so they can turn around and move him. In addition, with Yao being constantly injured, I would be inclined to think that Morely would like to retain Luis, and that Scola would probabl be peachy keen to stay in Houston. If Scola does come here, it'll be because we, in turn, overpay for him.

its a huge risk but the reward could be worth it...would Portland bite? given the bitter breakup between pritchard and portland...

I don't think so. Bargs and LA's game are too similar.

Bosh for Tpe+ Beasley + 2 1st picks = likely
TPE+ 1 1st pick, + Reggie for Okafor+Collison = likely
Jack + 2 Future 2nd rounders+Cash for Lou Williams and Thad Young = offered to BC
Hedo + Davis for Dalembert = offerered to BC
Calderon+ Belinelli for Rip Hamilton = mehhh

Dalembert/Amir/Alabi
Bargs/Okafor/Alabi/
Beasley/Thad Young or Weems
Rip/Derozan/Weems/ - Switch up a lot so rip gets a lot of rest...no need for injuries on that contract :\

The only bad contracts are Bargs and Okafor, and thats a solid/balanced PF slot

Rips contract is 38 million over 3 years is bad.
TPE & Banks for Collison and Stojakovic I could live with just one year at 15.3 likely buy him out.

Davis shouldn't be moved.

Turk, Dorsey & JJ to Houston for Ariza, Jefferies and Anderson
Houston needs a PG and Ariza didn't give Houston the play they wanted.
Dorsey and Anderson just make the $ work.

Jose, Collison
Weems, DD
Ariza, Jefferies, Stojakovic ( hopefully buy out one )
Bargs, Alabi
Amir, Davis, Evans

After this year the Raptors would have these players Jose, Bargs, Collison, Amir, Ariza, DD, Weems, Davis and Alabi with a payroll about 35 million that includes signing Weems to 4 million.

If Jose can be moved even less.

i'm with, but i prefer trade jose than jack.

jose is so an inconsistant and so much injuried will-to-go player, i prefer one guy like jack as our captain, and a collison to lead the bench and the youong guns as second unit. it will be fun to watch.

enjoy the game is the most challenge this days.

Mayo on one hand is gonna be a real solid player, and doesnt have the contract that ellis has, and Thabeet could still be that Motumbo clone he was projected to be.

I'm on the fence totally with Davis. And although I do love Ellis, I think Mayo is cheaper and can be alot more productive in a proper system, not to mention good buddies with Demar.

But either way if we get a tpe we should definately be looking hard at Ellis and fillers, cause even though Mango says it wont happen I can see GS definately making a move like that to save salary instantly, especially with new ownership looming.
