If Minnesota included Rubio, i'd jump on that deal.

In one of the reports, Miami is offering a first rounder and Toronto's old first rounder back. If BC is playing hard ball and gets them to throw in a second one of their own, getting a TPE from Miami is not a bad deal. It only requires them to throw in one more than they supposedly offered. none of us know what "scrubs" or what "picks" have been offered for sure.

Quote:
If I'm BC and I've got a deal set up that gets Chris to a good team with a future, and Chris Bosh says "Screw that, I'm going to Miami" then Miami says "We're giving you a scrub you don't want + TPE" I'm saying "You can take your pay cut and walk".
Sure you can refuse the scrub, but you never said anything about a scrub in the part I replied to.. In the part I replied to, you were refering to a "huge" TPE, and you listed it as if it was separate from the other things you discussed. You implied cap space is better than a "huge" TPE when the Raps have literally no cap space. You can't do anything with no cap space.

Quote:
I fully realize you're taking one of my points out of context, that's exactly the problem I have with your argument. Thanks for pointing that out for me. ("I was replying to a specifc part of your argumetn.") Apology accepted.
Dude, make up whatever excuse you want, you suggested we had cap space, and that was better than a TPE.

Quote:
I love the Bellinelli for Collison idea. Maybe we could get Chris Paul for POB while we're at it. Wait, we need the trade exception for that one. Dammit!
Haha hillarious. I said the Raps take on Okafor. It's a two step deal. And I said "if it's available." "If" the Hornets are really worried about finances, they'd want to ditch Okafor. Also, getting rid of Okafor opens up over $10 mill in room for the Hornets to get Chris Paul a team that suits him better; it also gives the Hornets huge flexibility with Peja coming off the books next year and David West potentially opting out of his contract. Comparing the Okafor/Collison deal to POB for Paul is a joke.

Is it possible to make a Chris Bosh for Darren Collison deal happen?

Dream Offseason

Toronto
Andre Iguodala
6-6 SF from Arizona
17.1 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 5.8 apg in 38.9 minutes
Philadelphia
Reggie Evans
6-8 PF from Iowa
3.4 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 0.3 apg in 11.1 minutes
Marcus Banks
6-2 PG from UNLV
5.0 ppg, 1.1 rpg, 1.2 apg in 11.1 minutes
DeMar DeRozan
6-7 from Southern California
8.6 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 0.7 apg in 21.6 minutes

Toronto gets a legit wing, and Philly gets cap relief, younger, and lets their young core grow. Deal can be sweetened. If you think this is unlikely, go to the bottom of the post and read the last paragraph.

Bargnani/ /Solomon
Amir/Ed
Turkoglu/Weems
Iguodala/ Belinelli
jarrett jack/ jose calderon

Chris Bosh for Michael Beasley + 12M TPE+ returned pick+ Chalmers
Pretty self explanatory.
Bargnani/ /Solomon
Amir/Ed
Turkoglu/Beasley
Iguodala/ Weems
jarrett jack/ jose calderon

Turkoglu+Pick for Dalembert
Rumoured deal, and is possible, due to Sacramento drafting 2 centres. They have had enough problems with gluts at positions.

Bargnani/ Dalembert/Solomon
Amir/Ed
Beasley
Iguodala/ Weems
jarrett jack/ jose calderon

TPE (10 Mil) to get Monta Ellis
Golden State has stated to have most players on the trading block, including Monta. For caproom...so...give them the TPE
This deal would finally give Toronto legit wings.

Jeff Foster + Solomon Jones (both expiring) for Calderon +3m TPE left over
They are looking for a point guard, and Toronto needs cap relief, with their roster.
Dalembert/Davis/Foster
Bargnani/Amir/Solomon Jones
Iggy/Beasley
Ellis/ Weems/Belinelli
Jack/Chalmers
around 68m without Foster and Solomon Jones...

Core of Bargnani, Iggy, Ellis, Davis – opposed to Bargnani, Derozan, Calderon
4th -6th in the east, all depending on the new stars, free agents.
expiring: dalembert (12Mil) Belinelli (3 Mil) Foster (6.5 Mil) Jones (1.5 Mil) = 23 mil
horford, noah, chandler, pryzbilla, or resign dalembert for 8 mil/3 years

Next offseason would be the season that could lead Toronto to SERIOUS contenders 
With 23m in expiring...8m for a centre. Then, 15 m left.
Kevin Durant recently stated his favourite team is the Toronto Raptors...go ahead google it. So...
Dalembert+Bellinelli(15m resigned one year) + Ellis(10m)...or Iggy(3y/12m) + Future Picks for + Kevin Durant S+T Max Contract

Noah/Davis
Bargnani/Amir/
Durant/Beasley
Ellis/ Weems/
Jack/Chalmers

only 6/7m more than 09/10 season, due to the wastes of Calderon and Turkoglu. Think of Durant as bosh, and Ellis and Noah as Turkoglu, and Calderon. Not much salary is added

Championship Time =D
Davis has the same measurements, hops, speed, and are even better in some cases. So, imagine the possibilities.

{All of these deals have been rumoured, (FROM THIS OFFSEASON) Or based on what teams have reported to desperately want. (Indiana-PG, Golden State-cap relief)
Iggy is not the main part of this post, so he can be replaced with someone else. Also, the iggy deal can take place at the trade deadline, and more expirings can be added in the deal, than the ones originally proposed.

You really think Ariza is better then Scola? The only thing Ariza has on Scola is youth, that's it. Ariza disapears and Scola works his ass off. Barbosa had a terrible season and shot 42.5 FG%/32 3pt%. I like them all, but Scola would be huge for this team imo.

How would Scola be huge on this team which is stack with bigs and is lacking talent at the wing? Scola would just take away minutes from Amir, Davis, and Alabi.

Gee you and LX always preach trade at top of value he is.
Plus he is older and on the way down our bigs have more potential and think Amir is as good.

Alabi will barely play since as BC said he's a project, Davis is a rookie and so who knows what he'll do. That leaves Bargnani, Amir and since Amir is constantly in foul trouble. You really think we're gonna go with Amir/Davis at PF? LMAO

Then i guess the discussion/rumour of Lee is BS as is the talk of Scola coming here.

Amir is as good? Can he give us 17/9 and stay out of foul trouble. Amir played 20mpg and was constantly in foul trouble look out if he has to play 30mpg.
